Never heard of it, so I googled it. Looks like it's not available in America and sounds like a combination of red bull and Ripple wine.

Sounds absolutely ghastly .
No wonder Henry the Eighth closed down the monasteries .
If it has a typical fortified wine base it should have 15- 20% strength , half typical Spirit level ..

Scots tend to move around permanently semi pissed and probably thought its name was slightly different, which amused them .
