I would never even try one until I was probably in my 30's. After I decided I liked them, I just steamed them and added butter and salt and pepper. Now I cut them in half , toss them in some evo, kosher salt and cracked black pepper, and roast them in the oven. I eat them this way at least 2, 3 times a week. One of my favorite vegetables.

... he likes cabbage.
