You can just hear the libturds moaning, can't you?

Britain's version of Tea Party rocks political system across the pond | Fox News

The often stale British political system is being rocked by its very own Tea Party.

The UK Independence Party (UKIP), formed in 1993 opposing Britain’s entry into the European Union, failed to make an electoral dent for a long time. However UKIP has built up steam in recent years and is spearheading a seismic shift in the British political spectrum.

In this year’s local elections – the British version of midterms -- UKIP took a stunning 23 percent of the vote, up from the 3.1 percent they won in the 2010 national election. Their leader, Nigel Farage, is buoyed by their recent success.

“We want to take back our country, we want to take back our government, and we want to take back our birthright,” Farage told FoxNews.com in forthright language rarely seen in British politics.

Britain was indeed republican once upon a time, after the Glorious Revolution of 1688 (though like any republic of old, it was really a monarchy operating within a republican framework). And off and on before and since.

Its post-WWII era seems to be its lowest point, its politicians being very much like American politicians. I'll never forget the time I saw on TV the story of an MP who was in some sort of scandal involving his moat.

Yes, moat. The London Beltway is like the D.C. Beltway. It's where the elitists live.

Well, Godspeed to them. They're going to need it. The TEA Partiers still need it here.

Some of those European conservative nationalists are unabashedly racist, at least they have the guts to admit it.

You have any proof of that? . . . . . . . . . .

I didn't think so.

When all else fails, bring out the race card. It's the libturd motto.

Thatcher got elected in 1979. Reagan got elected in 1980. As goes Britain, as goes America.

?

The Labor Party's disastrous leadership was thrown out in 1979 in favor of bold, conservative reforms from Thatcher. Now, we see the UKIP is making strides in Great Britain for smaller government in 2013. Thus, in 2014, I see an unprecedented GOP wave building.

Europe for the most part and UK is no exception is already a very racist society. Any more racial charging will result in Nazism, kind of like what we saw during the World War II.

Britain is welcome to have our TeaParty if they want them

We should ask Swagger if the UKIP really is like the Tea Party?

Yes and no. There's definately a lot of co-operation between the two behind the scenes in terms of mutual support and advise, but the Tea Party appears to have fallen afoul of Republican infiltration, and is still, as far as I can gather, just a pressure group, unlike UKIP, which holds seats in the European Parliament, as well as some constituencies. Furthermore, although unashamadly 'traditional' in their beliefs, officially there isn't as much emphasis on religion as there is in the Tea Party.

The UKIP has been accused of being a racist party. What are your thoughts?

Only if you consider opposition to unfettered immigration to be racist, which I don't.
