No it doesn't, but it's not a reason to pass on a candidate because they are white. We want EQUALITY not EQUITY!!!

As for Obama, his changes, may have contributed to the lack of having the best qualified candidates.

That's for a fact. If it is mostly whites who are the best qualified in a particular field, then that field should have mostly white people in it. Ditto for black people or brown people or whatever. The operative word is most qualified and not diversity.

If some field is mostly white and has the most qualified people in it, and black or whatever people want a piece of that pie, they need to do what is necessary to be among the most qualified. When they are, and they are excluded, then and only then they have cause to complain, sue, whatever.

You never see Democrats encouraging black people, especially young black people, to prepare themselves for success:
1. Stay in school and educate and prepare yourself for the occupation you want.
2. Stay away from illegal substances and activities
3. Dress mainstream/look professional
4. Take whatever jobs you can get to develop work ethic, experience, references, people skills
5. Wait until you are married to a responsible person before having kids
etc.

I suspect they don't do that for young black people because there is too much chance those people will then become Republicans.
