It doesn't matter if he got it or not. He still asked for personal favors in exchange for selling them Javelins. And he only sold them after a whistleblower filed a complaint about it.Did Trump get what he asked for?We all heard Trump's quid pro quo on his "perfect" phone call. The heresay doesn’t matter, we all know what happened... it’s time to own it and defend it. Heresay is a distraction, the facts are all out and being reenforced. Time to shift gears puppet.Fitting, since yours is the side that has suddenly tried to claim that hearsay is legit evidence, Gomer.I just wrote a thread about that lame “heresay” argument. Shift gears to the next one, that’s a loser. They're fucking committed to this idiocy....If their "star witnesses" ore a couple of nobody administrators who have nothing more than third-hand hearsay and some weepy bureaucrat who was fired months before anything being investigated happened, they don't have so much as a popcorn fart....If you can't see that, you need yet another serious reality check...Seems to be a recurring theme with you.
Did Ukraine get their aid anyway? Aid, which by the way included weapons no other president gave.
Now we got some woman on the stand who was FIRED before the supposed crime happened. And she tried DESPERATELY to portray herself as a war hardened veteran.
Interestingly BOTH her parents are RUSSIANS......
And he only sold them after a whistleblower filed a complaint about it.
You're fucked in the head for blaming Democrats for Trump's DoJ not being able to investigate.Your lie should be obvious even to you. Trump and his DoJ have been beaten back by the lies of Pelosi & Co. for 3 years. And the worst is yet to come, because they're training their Antifa paramilitants to forge ahead without mercy, just like a communist country did in 1917 in Russia. For all we know, the assault on Republican Congressmen on a baseball field was planned, and conveniently, the shooter was killed dead. Dead men tell no tales, but that one is responsible for the retirement of 55 elected Republicans, most of whom were afraid for the Democrats going for their own families next.Wait, what?? Trump and his DoJ have had control for nearly 3 years now. Had Biden actually committed any crimes, they would have gone after Biden by now. Shit, they didn't even look into it.Sorry that won't cut it. They looked the other way when vp biden was actually involved in corrupt acts with ukraine and son. The hypocrisy is laughable. Trump broke no laws. The lib carnie show will roll on with their hate and emotion. That's all they have.
I think this is headed for a civil war, a repetition of the 1861 assault on Ft. Sumpter. The lying and pandering are all there with Maxine Waters shilling for stalking, harassing, and hurting Republicans with no mercy. She and her ilk are traitors to the people of the United States of America. I do not like this situation of constant upheavel in the Halls of Congress, with Democrats taking out their faux outrage on Republicans who represent majorities in their areas of this once-great land. It's not great any more with poop all over the streets of a former vacation destination city like San Francisco, California, and no relief for decent people in sight.
And he only sold them after a whistleblower filed a complaint about it.
Credible link and timeline to this.
seriously?Link to this mandate?Biden broke no laws, he was mandated by his president and congress to do exactly what he did. Trump was acting in his own self interest to boost his political campaign. Big difference.Sorry that won't cut it. They looked the other way when vp biden was actually involved in corrupt acts with ukraine and son. The hypocrisy is laughable. Trump broke no laws. The lib carnie show will roll on with their hate and emotion. That's all they have.

I agree... just think this change to bribery is going to confuse things. It smells. Sounds like they are trying to hard to mood it into an impeachable crime, but is not an accurate label. Abuse of office make sense, I would have stuck with that.Every president has bribed foreign governments. That’s how it works. Tit for tat. We give them aid they make promises back. We buy policy that we want them to instituteMaybe the founders didn't want the president to be able to bribe foreign governments either.
It's true not doubt. However I'm just pointing out that the Constitution doesn't say any type of bribery is okay.
It has been the norm for a long time. I think it's important to see the difference and how that difference makes what Trump was trying to do so insidious and dangerous to the Republic..
Very adult of you. I see it this way-these are word games. People did not understand collusion, so the dems switched it to conspiracy-did not work. Now they took quid pro quo, people do not understand Latin, so now we have bribery-we'll see if THAT works. The last charge I see is running up the government's phone bill!I am far from a Trump supporter, however I need to call out yet another misstep from the Democrats. I posted about how Obstruction was a losing argument after the Mueller Report was released and now I see them doing it again with the Bribery claim.
I get that Bribery is in the constitution so they want to draw a simple and direct line with their charges for impeachment but what Trump did and what the context of bribery in the constitution is are two different things. By their definition, politicians and all past presidents commit bribery in the course of their foreign affairs. What Trump did was an abuse of office by dealing for personal gain, that should be the focus, not bribery. What the constitution was trying to protect from was politicians being paid to make policy... of course the lines are blurred with all the lobbying that goes on in Washington, a system that I’d happily like to see reformed, but that’s another story.
Best thing for Dems to do is wrap up the hearings. Get all the facts out with as little hyperbole as possible and then not file for impeachment but rather leave it up to the voters in next years election. Trump is as swampy as they come and he cares more about the fight than the future. I think enough people see that and will vote to end the drama and embarrassment. Let’s not make a martyr out of him by driving this impeachment train off a cliff.
dude, are you Okay? holy fk, I must say, from me to you, you just showed you do, in fact, have integrity. I will not ever again tell you you have integrity issues. Thanks and..I am far from a Trump supporter, however I need to call out yet another misstep from the Democrats. Just do a google search. This is common knowledge at this point. Look up Ron Johnson’s letter calling for reform to that prosecutors office
The problem they are going to face is with the way they define bribery... it will be able to be applied to several things that the Obama administration and that of all other presidents did as well. They should stick to the unique and inappropriate elements of what Trump did which was using his office to promote his political campaign.I am far from a Trump supporter, however I need to call out yet another misstep from the Democrats. Here is the problem, people have no idea what qid pro quo is. In fact, with our fabulous government run education system they are lucky to even know what bribery is.
But this also works to their benefit. People that don't know what bribery is, which is used incorrectly as you point out, will simply accept the fake DNC run news they get from the press about it being illegal and Trump being guilty of it.
Every president has bribed foreign governments. That’s how it works. Tit for tat. We give them aid they make promises back. We buy policy that we want them to instituteMaybe the founders didn't want the president to be able to bribe foreign governments either.

Bribery is a specific act of abuse of office.
Shokin stopped Burisma investigation prior to Hunter joining as corporate lawyer.Bribery is exactly what the Obama bin Biden regime did when they paid off the Ukraine government $1.2 billon for dropping the investigation into the company giving Joe’s son his kickbacks.
Yet to the Dems it’s a “high crime” to ask for such corruption to be investigated again.
The "payoff" to Ukraine was due to Russia invading Ukraine and taking Crimea. The "payoff" was military aid, and had zilch to do with Biden. The aid was protection against Russian aggression.

but thats not what happened here,,,this is about exposing DNC Ukraine collusion not bribery
