Hearing from a retired FBI agent who was being interviewed on Canadian TV and he said a few important details. Bear in mind this is from the best police agency on earth where they hire the best and brightest, those with emotional control and intellectual capacity. He is speaking from his training in the FBI:Either he was headed to the vehicle from the other side to aid in getting her contained or he stood there to keep her from leaving. That didn't give her the right to run him down. I guess the next time a protestor blocks a highway they can just be run down, no problem.
1) "We are trained to never stand in front of a vehicle"
2) He suggests that she was attempting to flee, not run him over
3) The multiple shots fired after her vehicle had passed is problematic.
4) He should never have left the scene. The ICE agent who fired the shot left the scene within minutes and they cleaned up the area which is to be investigated and could be a crime scene.
Again, if I am Trump I stay out of this. What value does he gain by weighing in other than to allow some to harm him politically?
I fear his political instincts aren't what they used to be on a day in which he obtained some clout with his push to prevent corporations from purchasing homes meant for those to live in as families etc.
Above and beyond this case, what does any politician from either side gain by determining guilt or innocence before an investigation is fulfilled?
