She intentionally blocked the road provoking a confrontation, drove away with one officer gripping her door handle and accelerated toward another officer. That is assault with a deadly weapon. What we see in the video, as most reasonable people see, is law enforcement initiated lawful contact which by all normal accounts results in verbal commands to stop and turn off the vehicle. The officer further closes on the open window communicating with the driver. Another officer steps in front of the vehicle thinking the situation was deescalated to then watch the driver furtively try to flee the scene thereby placing the officer in front of the car in jeopardy of death or great bodily harm.
