Well, history tells us that ten of eleven recessions began under a Republican administration.
Each recovery proceeded in the years after the recession.
The deeper the recession, the greater the recovery was.

The last big recession was in 2020 under Trump.
The recovery occured under Biden.
The recession preceding the last was 2008 under Bush .
The recovery occured under Obama.
The Great Depression was in under Herbert Hoover.
The recovery was under Roosevelt with the New Deal.

What else do we have?

Recession has not "started". It started with the 2024 Q3 of 3.1 GDP dropping to 2.4 and then -0.3. We are IN IT NOW.

Not to worry. Biden's quarters got us into it. Trump's will get us out. AND with manufacturing returning to the US, AND with national security thereby returning to us as well. Things are getting better.

Or do you want to rely on China for phamaceuticals, steel & aluminum. Wanna rely on other unfriendly countries like Canada & Mexico for steel ? (40% of US steel imports in 2024). Wanna rely on Canada for aluminum ? (50% imported from Canada in 2024).
