BREAKING: Supreme Court says US must aid in return of man deported by mistake

The illegal. had a hearing and was ordered to be removed.
After the hearing some time ago, he was grant right to stay in the US. The Trump administration ignore that and deported him because they claimed he was a member of a criminal gang. There was no hearing that allowed him contest that claim. In the US, every person has right to a fair hearing before being thrown in prison.

His own lawyer said he is in danger from a RIVAL gang... what does that mean to you?...

There are a number of possibilities:

#1 You "heard" something from "someone" and are repeating it.

#2 You are making it up.

#3 You are taking something out of context and attempting to spin it because you don't want him to have Due Process and are attempting to justify putting him in a 3rd country prision out of reach of US courts.

So let's take a look at the source.

If not an in court statement please support your claim with a link to the relevant reputable sourcing.

If the descripition of TdA and MS-13 as rival gangs, that would be true. That is not saying Abrego Garcia is a member of either one. Similiar to my saying Ford and Chevy are rival car companies, that is also true but doesn't mean I drive either one.

You may well be right about that. Or the whole idea of using the Enemy Aliens act on suspected foreign gang members may be tossed out by the courts, no matter how much evidence there is that they are really gang members. That is the Democrats' legal strategy.

But what good will that do your side? Meaning the side that wants all illegal aliens to stay until they start voting and maybe become citizens along the way.

Best scenario for your side, the judges manage to force Trump to simply deport illegals the old fashioned way - for being illegal (duh!). Then - once again - the Democrats allow Trump the moral high ground that wants violent criminals out of the country, while the Democrats are seen as the Party of Shysters constantly looking for a way to trip up Trump to the detriment of the American people.

I just wonder how lopsided 2026 will have to be for the Democrats to wise up.
Only the criminally minded, think following the law and constitution, is some sort of law fare and a bad thing.... :rolleyes-41:

My numbers are 7m - 13 illegals were let into the Us by Biden's open borders.

Agreed math is straightforward. We just disagree on the number of illegals in the US, especially the ones hiding in the shadows. My reference (below) says 18.6m now. Your reference said 13-15m.

Biden averaged 3,000,000 encounters per year, graph below.
Very few were "deported" , that's why we call it "open borders".
3m x 4 yrs = 12,000,000 plus the 1m from the CBP app plus the 2m "gotaways" = 15m new illegals into the US during Biden. 15 Biden + 10 Trump = 25m higher than the 19m my ref has. My range is 19m - 25m illegals in the US.

True. Look at the CBP encounters.

No one knows "exactly" how many illegals we have here in the US, because they are "illegal".

Encounters, are NOT WHO THEY LET IN TO THE UNITED STATES!

ENCOUNTERS are who TRIED to get in, and are NOT those let in.

Less than half the Encounters at the border were let in to the country. After screening, less than 50% were accepted as asylum seekers or parolees, and let in.....the rest of the encounters at the border were rejected and deported.

The right wing has been LYING TO YOU about it and their story of open borders. 50% rejected at the border and deported upon their encounter with border patrol, are deported immediately, and not let in.....that's not supporting the LIES of OPEN BORDER crapola.

From my fact check link posted for you earlier....

Comprehensive figures are available through October. So to keep things as simple as possible, we’ll present numbers for February 2021, the month after Biden took office, through October, unless otherwise noted.

The DHS data show 6.5 million encounters at the U.S.-Mexico border in that time frame, a figure that includes both the 5.8 million apprehensions between legal ports of entry – the number typically used for illegal immigration – and a little more than 700,000 migrants who arrived at ports of entry without authorization to enter the U.S.

Of those 6.5 million encounters by CBP, 2.5 million people have been released into the U.S. with notices to appear in immigration court or report to Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the future, or other classifications, such as parole.

There are certainly others who have crossed the border by evading the authorities. DHS estimated there were 660,000 “gotaways,” or unlawful entries, in fiscal 2021. The agency would not provide an updated estimate. However, a DHS spokesperson told us: “Under this Administration, the estimated annual apprehension rate has averaged 78%, identical to the rate of the prior Administration.” That rate would support a gotaway figure of 1.6 million from February 2021 through October.

The 1.6 million figure would bring the number of those entering or released into the country to about 4.2 million.

The figures used by Haley, DeSantis and Cotton — 8 million or 10 million — are totals of all migrant encounters at the border plus gotaways, and, in Cotton’s case, encounters at the northern border, coastal borders and airports. Cotton’s press secretary, Patrick McCann, told us that those figures showed the senator was correct to say that number “crossed into the country.” But these claims ignore that DHS statistics show 2.8 million of the encounters at the southern border alone resulted in a removal or expulsion directly from CBP custody, and all of the rest of the migrants encountered are not simply released.

Most of those removals – nearly 2.5 million — were immediate expulsions under Title 42.

Total DHS repatriations through October amounted to 3.7 million, a figure that includes the 2.8 million removals directly from CBP, as well as removals by ICE. CBP operates at the border – at ports of entry and between them — while ICE “is responsible for interior enforcement and for detention and removal operations,” DHS explains.

“The majority of all individuals encountered at the southwest border over the past three years have been removed, returned, or expelled,” a DHS official told us. The total DHS repatriations of 3.7 million would support that. The figure is 57% of the 6.5 million total encounters. The one caveat is that the total repatriations could include some migrants who were apprehended crossing the border some time ago and later were arrested and removed by ICE.

Trump did say on AF 1 last night he would comply with the SCOTUS and return him to the U.S.

Your link is from early 2024, so its a bit low, and "factcheck" leans left. From your link
"The 1.6 million figure would bring the number of those entering or released into the country to about 4.2 million."
Then add the 1m flown in via the CBP app gets you to a minimum of 5.2m

Add another million for 2024 and you get to 6.2m so my 7m is reasonable.

7m to 13m is still an invasion. Please don't forget that in the 7m was 166,000 Chinese, 125,000 Russians, 500,000 or so convicted criminals, and hundreds of terrorists including ISIS.
Those bad guys are Biden's and democrat's responsibility until ICE can get them deported.
You do know what a "5th column" is?

Didyou make that up too?

It’s still a lie since there are only 17 million here total

So if that is your claim, please identify the court filing. I'll be glad to review it.

But you never cite the - you know - actual files.

Again here is the link -->> https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/69777799/abrego-garcia-v-noem/

So which document. I actually - you know - read most of them. (I didn't bother to read the Pro Hac Vice motions to appear.)

So back up your claim. Abrego Garcia actually has consistently said he was never part of a gang and was actually running FROM gangs when he came to America.

So her is his filing and the original immigration judges ruling.

WW

That would be awful and it would make the Trump Admin murderers
It seems funny to me that Trump & his DOJ lackeys are pulling out all the stops to be forced to bring him back here. For one immigrant who may be deported in the end anyway? To have their asses handed back to them by SCOTUS?

This whole fiasco stinks to high heaven. It also shows how incompetent Bondi & Noem are & how ruthless Trump is for letting this happen.

I'm just telling you what the dudes lawyer has said more than one time... if that's not good enough for you I can't help you... but he has married an American born woman... so why hasn't he applied for a green card?... that's easy to answer... its because he is a gang member and had a deportation order... but you want him to stay... unbelievable man... it really is...

His own lawyer said he is in danger from a RIVAL gang... what does that mean to you?...
I have not found anywhere that Kilmar Abrego Garcia's lawyer said he was in danger from a rival gang.
Link???

This is all about the power of the president when he declares a National Emergency. Trump clearly believes he can ignore the constitution and immigration laws; that is he can perform mass deportations of undocumented immigrants without due process, ignoring immigration laws and procedures.

In interviews... you guys really suffer from shorted information... its like you live in a different world only to hear what suits you...
The guy is illegal... he was with other MS13 gang members when he was arrested by ICE... why are you defending him?... because lib media says you should?...
