He was then sentenced to 41 months, leaving 31 months to go.

15 percent of 41 months is just over 6 months, leaving 25 months from the time he was sentenced.

He will serve his remaining 12 months in a halfway house, leaving 13 months.

He was sentenced in mid-November 2021.

10 months pre-sentenced, a little over 15 months since sentencing, 6 months off good behavior, 12 months halfway house = 43 months.

The article says he served "just under 27 total months in prison".
