He had another 30 months to serve, and he served 15 of them before being paroled for good behaviour. Chansley was sent to a half way house prior to his release in May.

Jacob's sentence wasn't reduced because of a video...it was reduced because of the First Step Act...which is why he is going to a halfway house -- which is entirely not the same thing as "released"
