If the reverse were true, and private-sector workers were earning 130% of what government employees do, you'd be calling it "the success of capitalism! you can't complain that people make too much money!!"
So are you beaming that this is the "success of socialism?" And that people can't loot too much money?
Aren't there controls on government spending?
Controls like "Yo, da goodfellas gots a propositions for ya, you vote us obscene salaries and absurd perqs, we deliver the Union vote and trash your opponents.."
You're vilifying the workers who don't even set their own pay!?!
Innocent lambs, all the little Robert Rizzo's at the public trough only want what's fair..
How is that a fair argument?
The Lords and Ladies of the public aristocracy are suffering, the peasants just aren't sacrificing enough to ensure that they live the opulent lives they deserve by merit of being government.
Over 12,000 of California's retired aristocrats make more than $100,000 from taxpayer funded pensions. Mind you, the average state "worker" retires at less than 55 years of age, 12 years younger than the general public.

If we're going to talk about % comparisons of who makes what...how about the VAST difference in the pay of CEOs versus the rest of the workers in companies?
Last I checked, those weren't coming from taxes. (Save the looters at Goldman Sachs, Chase, GE and GM in the fascist scheme Dear Leader created.)
You're like a little kid caught stealing my tomatoes who argues "You don't have a problem with Mrs. Chang eating as many tomatoes as she wants." That's because Mrs. Chang buys her own tomatoes instead of stealing them out of my garden.
Admit it...you have this stereotype of a lazy government worker, probably a minority in your mind, that's just feeding off the system and doesn't deserve their pay.
And you have the TV version of the diligent and selfless superhero barely scraping by...
Your stereotype is much further from reality than the one you assigned to me.
I ride the train to work. It's very convenient for me to do so. I live 42 miles from work and Southern California traffic is some of the worst in the nation. I pay $279 a month for a pass - unless they raised it again today, which they might have. Most of the people I ride with are government workers. For one thing, they ride free, for another, they need not worry about being stuck at work - they are 9-5 with no exceptions. State and LA County workers live in absolute luxury, they make enough that those 10 weeks of vacation each year are well used. The federal workers don't do quit as well.
Workers...private or municipal deserve the same treatment and protections.
So you support reducing the salaries and benefits of government workers to those enjoyed by the general public?
Go talk to your representative or your senator. The one you voted for. It's really your own fault in the end.
The corrupt unions elected these *****, who work 100% for the corrupt unions.
We have a government of, for and by the government worker. The rest of us are a peasant class who exist purely to support the government workers - our government masters.
