How many people steal something, then offer to pay it back, or return it, that still get convicted? LOTS. The crime was committed, the fact you get caught and pay restitution or return the stolen good doesn't change that.

Receiving funds is bribery, even if he didn't receive the funds personally. His son, brother, daughter-in-law, sister and grandkids all got money through Hunter. Hunter even paid some of Joe's bills.

I agree he was treated vastly different because of politics. The Xiden DOJ refused to bring any charges for quite some time, then finally did after whislerblowers came forward, then they tried to sweep it under the rug with a sweet heart deal a Court wouldn't accept....and now he gets a blanket pardon for ten years!
