BREAKING NEWS: Biden pardons his son

Possibly but doubtful IMHO. Saying "I don't remember" or taking the 5th is not grounds for a contempt charge. I suspect that pardon will be challenged in court, as it should be.
Taking the 5th IS grounds for contempt, when you've been deemed exempt from prosecution....I'd also argue a case for obstruction.

Not sure what you mean by “laptop”.

There’s no Burisma coverup because there is no crime. It’s been investigated at length.

The laptop with the evidence of Biden accepting bribes.

You know, the one with the pics of Hunter’s cock and doing crack.

Maybe you are not a historian…it was in all the papers…AFTER THE 2020 ELECTION.

They are immune for every act up to the date of pardon.

If they keep their noses clean, they are fine.

Gavin will pardon Hunter in CA.

That's not how it works... so if a bank robber brings the money back he doesn't get charged with a crime?...
And nowhere will you find that a citizen who knowingly and willingly does not pay his or her taxes but repays after they are busted gets away without being prosecuted... people go to prison for years for what Hunter did...

again, name one. Someone who did what Hunter did, who paid the disputed amount, and went to jail for years.

Most tax disputes are resolved without litigation.

When was he sentenced?
You claimed “He was never convicted of anything.”

Maybe you are not a history buff, but you posted that a few minutes ago.

Maybe you should have said, “He was never sentenced for anything.” That would have been accurate. He was going to be sentenced in December.

Here is some light reading for you so you do not look so stupid.

Hunter Biden will be sentenced in December for both his gun purchasing chargesand tax fraud charges.

On December 12, Biden, 54, will be sentenced in Delaware after he was found guilty of three felonies stemming from purchasing a gun while using drugs in October 2018.

Biden could face up to 25 years in prison for his gun conviction, although it is believed he will not serve time as he is a first-time and nonviolent offender.

Before Hunter's conviction in June, his father, President Joe Biden, claimed he would not pardon his son.”

lmao...

Derp.webp

And?

Only two other presidents since 1900—George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush—granted fewer acts of clemency than Trump, while his predecessor, Barack Obama, granted clemency 1,927 times over the course of eight years in office, the highest total of any president going back to Harry Truman, according to the Pew Research Center.

What's your point?

He wasn't hired for his knowledge of the Ukraine. he was hired for his knowledge of corporate governance and compliance.

You guys have been making claims and investigating it, and all you came up with was a tax error and a gun charge.
"A" tax error? Try again, Joey! The Merrick Garland DOJ deliberately let the statute of limitations on multiple episodes of tax evasion by Hunter Biden lapse, negating months of investigation by IRS agents.

Im told by Trump cultists that it’s not a conviction until they’ve been sentenced.

Is that just a special rule for Trump?

I missed your post where you articulated this before your posted that Hunter Biden was not convicted of anything,

Go ahead and show me.

:linky:

Not really.

This is actually a correct use of the pardon power.

Most people who fill out that form incorrectly are not prosecuted.
Most people who underpay their taxes are just allowed to pay the difference and a penalty (which Hunter did.)

The only reason why he was prosecuted was for being Biden's son. And because Repukes couldn't prove any of their other crazy schemes.
Good point, and nobody has ever been charged over the alleged inflation of property values either...right?

The only reason why he was prosecuted wThe only reason why he was prosecuted was for being Biden's son. as for being Biden's son.

Probably, but that's been going around it seems.

And because Repukes couldn't prove any of their other crazy schemes.

Yet, the investigations are probably going to begin, with people who are not wishy washy, like "he would appear to be a well meaningful, forgetful..." yadda yadda.

Also,I think the test of how "absolute" the power of pardon is, might be around the corner.

A Ukraine company needed to hire a lawyer for help with their "corporate governance and compliance" in Ukraine? So instead of hiring a lawyer in Ukraine familiar with the rules in that country...instead they hired a US attorney with no experience with Ukraine...no experience in the Energy Sector and who didn't speak their language? Oh and just for the topper for how ridiculous that scenario would have been? The US lawyer is also a raging crack addict with a taste for under aged prostitutes!

Yeah...let's hire THAT guy! (Eye Roll) Nothing to do with who his father is!

I didn’t articulate it before hand. I thought it was common knowledge among the MAGA cult. It’s their reflexive reply when we point out that Trump is a convicted felon.
