The pardon of Hunter does not, as far as I can tell. indicative of Joe being involved in any nefarious activities per se. The unfortunate reality though is that if not for Joe Bidens position, Hunter probably doesn't engage in criminal activities. There is often an invisible hand behind the scenes which we would not be privy to.

Thus, in a roundabout way it was his fathers success which tempted him. Whenever someone is tempted there is always another human there to entice and extract benefit from their shortcomings. A devil on his shoulder that wouldn't have existed if his father were just the local plumber or something to that effect.

The high of his addiction is ephemeral in nature but the negative outcomes can last for a lifetime.

Then why the BLANKET pardon? Joe didn't just pardon his son for the crimes he was convicted of, it's a BLANKET PARDON for anything and everything from 2014 through 2024. Which would include all of Joe's corruption.

I think the SCOTUS would love to debate this legal issue. Can a pardon be witness tampering?
