Breaking: Multiple explosions heard in Caracas, Venezuela

The Epstein Files... he hopes those go away.
That’s laughable…none of that means shit…just more distraction.
If you think they are treating Maduro like a perp at Riker's Island, you are deluded. They are taking very good care of him, because the worst thing that could happen is for him to come to harm in US Custody.
I’m sure he’s in the presidential suite….lol
Um, yeah, we've seen this play a dozen times before. Trump puts out the big distracting thing and then moves on to the next big distracting thing.
The world is a mess…thanks Joe.
The man is a reality TV huckster, not a leader.
Your opinion is not shared by everyone.
Noriega we seized his entire country. And that guy was actually guilty of something.
You think Maduro was a choir boy?
Not sure how you can say that, given the results in VA and NJ. If that trend continues in the whole Country, Vance is toast.
Y’all won some blue places, in blue states, and have false hope.

I don't think he's guilty of what Trump accused him of.

So let's review. We seized a foreign head of state, not to restore democracy, because apparently Trump wants to make a deal with Delcy and doesn't want to put Machado in charge because she stole 'his' Peace Prize (what a ******* child!)

So what was the point? We killed dozens of innocent Venezuelans to effect an arrest that will probably never result in a conviction.

If the margin changes stay the same, the GOP is screwed in the midterms.

There was no "order" to turn off the radar and air defense employments. We jammed those. Venezuela's Russian and Chinese-made air defense is pretty primitive, compared to the technology we have. They give off distinct signals that make them look like sitting targets. And MANPADs aren't something that Maduro's Cuban security guards walk around with all day. They have to be issued to them, and usually stay locked up in an arsenal.

Maduro's Cuban guards were not "executed. The ones who died fired upon the American troops and were neutralized. with return fire. And those vessels, fighter jets, and more than 20 Venezuelan bases spared were dormant. We didn't conduct the raid to destroy Venezuela's ability to defend itself. The mission was only to go in there and capture Maduro, and leave.

Honestly, this is looking more and more like an internal coup and not a brave mission for "Democracy", especially since Mango Mussolini is cutting a deal with Delcy and not promoting Machado (because she stole his "Peace Prize".)

You’re letting ideology, and hatred cloud you from seeing the bigger picture….

What bigger picture.

The problem is Cheeto Hitler, being the Reality TV Show clown he is, has no long-term plan.

He's going to leave convicting Maduro to someone else (and again, given the track record of his DOJ, I suspect Maduro would have a good chance of being acquitted)

He's going to try to make a deal with Delcy, but Delcy will keep the same security apparatus that Maduro had.

And of course, he won't prop up Machado because she 'stole' his Nobel Peace Prize. (no chance of him ever getting one after this shit.)

Going back to the Bush years for your argument eh?

You’re nuts.

I didn't mention Bush at all in my reply. If I were to invoke Bush, I would remember that "Nation-Building" often leads to failure.
Yeah, throw all that Code pink bull shit out there…

The United States allegedly used LUCAS (Low-Cost Unmanned Aerial System) drones for the first time during Operation Absolute Resolve in Venezuela on January 3. Published videos show the drones' distinctive engine sound, similar to that of Iranian Shahed-136 drones or Russian Geran-2 drones. There is no official information yet from the US Department of War. LUCAS kamikaze drones were developed by the American company SpektreWorks and were first shown in July 2025. LUCAS drones are believed to be based on the FLM 136 target drone, previously shown by SpektreWorks. LUCAS drones can perform reconnaissance, operate in a swarm, or serve as a communications relay. The alleged technical specifications of LUCAS drones include: The drone's payload is 18 kg, with some estimates suggesting up to 50 kg. Flight time is up to 6 hours, at speeds up to 185 km/h. The drone's range is up to 650 km at altitudes up to 5,500 meters. It's worth noting that LUCAS drones are currently inferior in performance to the Geranium-2 drone. The estimated price of a LUCAS drone is $35,000-40,000.

Details have emerged regarding the inactivity of Venezuela's air defenses during the US military operation "Operation Absolute Resolve" on January 3. It's worth noting that during the US military operation, only two Venezuelan MANPADS and one air defense missile launch were recorded. Some Buk-M2E air defense systems were not even removed from their hangars in Catia La Mar; they were hit by AGM-154C-1 air defense bombs. Some air defense systems were deployed in urban areas, where they cannot operate effectively. According to The New York Times, citing US intelligence agencies, Venezuela purchased S-300VM Antey-2500 and Buk-M2E air defense systems from Russia, but was unable to maintain and operate them properly, lacking the necessary specialists. Some air defense components were not connected to radars or were not commissioned. Months of warnings about a possible attack did not result in air defense systems and the Air Force being put on alert.
