A House Chamber that would have been EMPTY by the time the protesters reached the door to the Chamber. A House Chamber that was guarded by locked doors with multiple armed men standing behind them. Those protesters that you label "thugs" hadn't harmed anyone from the moment they got inside of the Capitol Building! The fact is they were there to stop something from happening not to hurt anyone. No, video does NOT show that! There was one window that was knocked out of another door to the Chamber earlier and Secret Service and Capitol Police told another group of protesters on the other side of that door that they would be shot if they tried to breach it. Those protesters heeded that warning and left. The truth (which you seem oblivious to!) is that the Babbitt Group wasn't even close to harming the Vice President or House Members because they still needed to get through the outer doors and then the actual doors to the chamber...doors that were guarded by multiple armed men! Protecting House Members was the excuse that Byrd used for assassinating an unarmed protester. Which is total BULLSHIT because there is no way that unarmed protesters are going to win a fight with a dozen law enforcement officers armed with automatic weapons!
