I'm wondering how much business California does with countries that have real human rights violations, such as China. Unbelievable hypocrisy.

AZ may sue over the breach of contracts. Just what the good people of CA need.

This is the most galling part of all this. You KNOW the State of California and all its cities are trading with some of the world's biggest human rights violators even as they adopt policies for themselves that infringe on the rights of the people and put them under increasingly authoritarian rule.

But they get their panties in a bunch when a state gets fed up with crime, violence, and unsustainable drain on social services and chooses to start enforcing the existing law?

There are wonderful people in Caifornia, but apparently the nutso fringe holds the power. Viva la Arizona. Buy whatever you need and can get from them.

And California should be left totally in peace I think and not have to bother with dealing with the rest of us for awhile in any respect including having to do business with us. That's the humane and compassionate way to go here I think.

And yet law enforcement has been handling 'reasonable suspicion' quite nicely for 200 years or more. I see no reason to think that suddenly they will lose the ability to do that now.

Buying them tickets to go home would be a hell of lot cheaper than feeding, housing, clothing, food stamps, cost of living subsidies, and providing free healthcare and education to all of them.

I am calling for a boycott on California. California has called for a boycott of Arizona because of the illegal immigration law passed recently by the governor of Arizona. This law mirrors federal law on ILLEGAL immigration, yet, because our politicians to not have the political guts to enforce it and secure our borders they left it up to the state of Arizona to do so. I beleive that the law that was passed was a courageous and necessary one and I am in full support of it. I am therefore calling for a boycott of all of those who are boycotting Arizona for up-holding the current law on ILLEGAL immigration. I hope many of you will join in.

Way ahead of you. California is broke because of their molly-coddling of illegal immigrants and other liberal welfare state policies. Predictably, they have been rewarded by the Obama administration for their irresponsible behavior and, due to this, have become our Greece. I oppose any further efforts to bail out California and reject their pompous attitude toward a state that respects the letter of the law and the intent of the Constitution. They can't pay their own bills and, with their hand still out to the federal government, they think they should lecture the rest of us to include Arizona.

Arizona can count on my business.

If I could, I would do all my shopping at a Walmart in Arizona, but I would only drive there in a Ford.

Don't like Walmart and the cheap imports they sell, cut the 35% corporate tax rate. Until we do that, we won't manufacture anything here in the US.

Really? So the California legislature passed a call to boycott Arizona? Well as a resident of California this is certainly news to me, perhaps you could give me a link to where the CA government encouraged a boycott of Arizona.




The City Council voted 13-1 to bar Los Angeles from conducting business with Arizona unless the law is repealed. The vote followed an emotional council discussion during which many members noted that their ancestors were U.S. immigrants.

Arizona should give all illegals free tickets to go to California and set them up with a bank account with 500 dollars in it that can only be withdrawn if they are in California and have this account pay them every week for a month. this way they would stay there to collect their free money and then stay there. Bet that would change the Gov's and politicians mind about these Illegals.
