...and it has exceeded my expectaions.

I paid $23 and regular price is $29...

Slips under the seat of the pickup easily.

Never be without.

It has a nylon carry bag not pictured.

This one is by Fltom.

Stowed it is 15"x7.5"x2.5".

Set up it the cooking surface is a little over a foot square.

They don't like links to sale items, so you'll have to find it on your own.

I used to keep a really small cast iron habatchi grille, in the bed of my truck, until I finally broke it.

Nothing quite like the smell of burned meat in your PU right?

Buy a waterproof Tuff Chest of some sort and keep it in the bed.

I keep a collapsible rocket stove, skillet, nested camping pots, etc., in mine.....Always GTG.

I have an emergency kit in my Suburban. Don't leave home without it.

Well, if you have one of those East Coast highway pickup trucks with heated leather seats, shampooed carpets and waxed exteriors...yeah, that might be a problem. ;)

Those are great. That's what I bought this one to replace. To make some sateys, kabobs and Korean and Japanese Bbq on.

I really miss the one I had. It met the same fate.....By the end I was using vice grips for handles. :laughing0301:
Yep. First the handles, then cracked across the thing but it was great while it lasted. I don't see those little cast iron grilles around here anymore, but they were really popular and cooked great, back in the day.

Internet says my local Ace Hardware carries something close...$35...

I hope it lasts you better than the thin metal light weight ones I tried to replace the little habatchi. That food looked great!

That's my one concern. Metal may be too thin to last as long as we'd like.
It's always something. Sounds like 1srelluc had the same habatchi experience I did. Enjoy as long as you can and swap it out.
