Both of the Presidential canidate love on candidate more than all others, themselves. Mrs. Clinton isn't going to pick anyone who might upstage the queen. Certainly there is not going to be two queens and a black man would distract from her self precieved greatness.

Trump, I don't think he cared as much. I think he might have been told to pick a Christian conservative with a good track record. Someone who might blunt the edges on Trump.

So by design they are boring.
