One can readily see from this thread that the folks on the right have nothing to counter the OP. So I will be happy to. There were some wacky histrionics by the left. I remember a "sit in" not too long ago.

But compared to the GOP House antics...it seems rather mild in comparison. What was there, like 100+ bills to overturn Obamacare that went no-where. When they finally got control of the House in 2016; they didn't advance the measure. This impeachment proceeding is ridiculous; the weekly threats to shut down the government if they don't get draconian budget cuts... its' laughable.

What is really rather disgusting is that when they had a moment of silence to honor the fallen CHPO who died after the insurrection, the GOP members boycotted it. Totally classless sick fucks.
