Talk to anybody that's an Employer. That has a business, especially one that uses people that work with their hands.
One I am intimately familiar with, my Brother owned an Auto Repair Shop and sold it because he couldn't get mechanics. Now, I'm not talking Engineers or Wiz-Kid sooper mechanics...... I'm talking mostly Parts Changers. There are so few true mechancs left, it's scary.
He was offering $50k to start. Didn't have to be experienced in NASCAR or have a degree or whatever, just had to show up and change out parts.
Couldn't get people. Sold it to a friend. Same shit. Can't get people.
Ask ANYBODY that owns or runs a labor-intensive business..... The young people of today ALL have one thing in common....... They don't want to work. No, that's not it -- They WON'T work.
Now, put an ad in the paper or on the 'net for a Barista and you're likely to get a thousand resumes, mostly from College pukes. Run an Ad for a job where you don't get your hands dirty -- Same-Same.
And if you do find a Welder or a Mechanic or whatever, half the time they want $50 an hour to start, two hours for lunch, double time for OT, 3 weeks paid Vacation and 20 Paid Holidays.
I will say this about many of the illegals I've run into -- Some of them are absolutely the hardest working Human Beings I've ever seen in my life. Anywhere.
We can't be as closed-minded as dimocrap scum. Who aren't just closed-minded but stupid as ****. This is not a Black and White situation. There are a lot of "Gray Areas''. Really a lot of. Really really really a lot.
I think that, right now, what Trump is doing is giving dimocrap scum the Finger and then poking them in the eye with it.
If dimocrap scum actually cared about the plight of the Illegals (they don't, believe it, they do NOT) they shut the **** up and try to work with OMB.
But like I said, dimocrap scum don't really care about illegals. AT all.
