Blue Wave Alert: GOP Loses 10th Straight Legislative Flip

Well, you seem overly critical of the GOP and seem to not care much about all the shit the dumocraps do.
It always looks like this to partisans. I deal with this every day. You guy are so stuck in the "sides" circle jerk that it stifles your ability to look at things rationally. It's just all "us vs them".

THAT's what you got out of my comment? Maybe try reading it again.

That's a lie that you tell yourself to justify voting for a bad candidate on purpose.

I usually vote. But I vote for the best candidate. I don't constrain myself to candidates that the media deems "viable". And I don't put my finger to the wind and try to second-guess what all the idiots are going to do.

No

Figures.

Do you really think Trump is/was the best??? Or do you just think he's better than Biden?

Yeah. It's important for the parties to demonize the "other side".

At this point in history there is no person in the United States more suited and better qualified to lead the USA out of the multiple issues and dark areas that we have fallen into.

Some thanks to the ones that enabled President Trump to spend 4 years being steeled in total resolve during 2021-2025
It also helped that he survived being shot.
The level of focus that left him with is spectacular.

So let me get this straight. Because you think Trump was a bad candidate no one should have voted for him? If I preferred Trump in the 2024 election, and I wanted to vote for him, warts and all, was it justifiable to vote for him? Or are you saying because I didn't think Trump was a perfect candidate I should have voted for Harris instead? Can you please tell me exactly how you want me to vote in the future? Let's just say in 2028 it is Vance vs. Newsom. How do you want me to vote and why? Just so I can avoid telling myself a lie again.

In db's world you have to vote for someone that is running as a 5th or 6th party candidate.

Otherwise, you are simply voting for the lesser of 2, 3, or 4 evils.

If a candidate is part of a viable party, they are automatically bad.

I think you just don't like the fact that people hate the dumocraps and prefer Trump for many reasons. I don't particularly like Trump all that much, but there is absolutely no compelling reason for me to ever vote for another dumocrap. The idea of Trump keeping Harris out of the White House AND closing the border to ILLEGAL immigration was more than enough to earn my vote. Don't like it? Call me a partisan, a racist and a fascist. I don't care.

Sometimes people want to make their vote count. No other third party candidate convinced me of anything, Trump was my choice for 2024. And do you know what? It seems like my vote counted.

Of course you do. That's all you can imagine.

As long as you think you are required to vote for a D or an R, these parties will only get worse. As long as you give them your vote "for free", they have no reason to change.

I know. And the not caring part is sinking the country. Downward spiral, race to the bottom etc.....

Wake up.

Nope. I don't care which party you vote for. Just STOP voting for shitty candidates because the "other" candidate is worse. STOP letting them scare you into voting for shitty leaders. It's killing us.
Otherwise, you are simply voting for the lesser of 2, 3, or 4 evils.
Have you considered actually voting for a good candidate, instead of mucking around trying to figure out who's the worse of two shitty options?

They're not automatically good. And that's how you fools treat it.

Seriously, if the two parties told you that your "only" choice is between Mao and Stalin - would you still vote for one of them??? Would sit down and try to figure out which was worse and vote for the other? Or would you say - "Wait a minute, these are both horrible leaders. I'm not voting for either. I'll vote for a good candidate, regardless of what the two parties (and the media) say - even if that candidate probably won't win. I'm not voting for evil, lesser or otherwise."

. People should be able to have their representatives in Washington.
agreed, now convince the media of that, they are constantly harassing and even removing representatives chosen by the people...nixons biggest faux pas was winning a landslide, he had to go for that one
Helps the GOP as much as the Dems when the GOP isnt sucking wind like now.
and who does the media help more?

our media engages in european style politics, if they think the people don't/didn't get it right the media sees itself as their political safety net and moves to adjust the results

Elections and politicians will NEVER save America.
America can ONLY BE SAVED by patriotic Americans willing to make very uncomfortable sacrifices.

Since no one is willing to make those sacrifices, ... Full Steam!....Iceberg dead ahead

Over 60? (count your blessings that you lived when you did)
Under 60? (You're fucked...that is all)

What if I WANT to vote for a republican? Am I allowed to? Is that giving my vote away for free? Am I succumbing to fearmongering? Am I destroying America one vote at a time? Is that me telling myself a lie? It seems you expect everyone to vote as you do, not as they want. Maybe that is why third parties never garner much interest? Or maybe the third parties are actually worse than the dumocraps? What if a third party candidate is the absolute worst, do I still have to hold my nose and vote for that candidate? Seems like your political advice is something I should go out of my way to ignore. And for the record, I really want about 20 major parties in this country. But I want them to be better than the GOP and the dumocraps before any one of them ever gets my vote. I actually make my vote count, I don't give it away for free. And do you sell your vote to a third party for money or do you give it away for free?

What sacrifices must we make?

I think that President Trump was a great candidate - not the lesser of anything. Now what?
I voted for a good candidate, not a shitty option - Now what?

If it wasn't for the dumocraps cheating their asses off with mail-in ballots, Trump would have had back to back terms. But, I must say I am so glad the dumocraps stole the 2020 election, because it paved the way for Joe Biden to completely **** up everything he touched and got the people begging for Trump to return. And with the time off he got wiser and made a plan on how to destroy the dumocraps. Asking them to stand for prioritizing Americans over illegal immigrants was a crushing blow. One year in and they aren't doing so well despite all the propaganda they put forth. The people don't trust, or like, the dumocraps any more.
The democrats beat the shit out of Trump in 2020 because trump sounds good but leads like a retarded asshole. America is beating the shit out of him again at the voting booth. Have all 10 of these elections been stolen too genius?

Republican Rep. Kiley leaves GOP, tightening Johnson's margins

Rep. Kevin Kiley (Calif.) announced Monday that his decision to leave the Republican Party and register as an Independent will take effect immediately.

Why it matters: House Speaker Mike Johnson's (R-La.) two-vote majority just got even smaller.

Kiley said he will still caucus with Republicans for "administrative purposes" but noted that he's been a less-than-reliable vote for Johnson even as a Republican.

  • The California Republican did not give leadership a heads-up before announcing Friday that he was leaving the party, but he said he did speak with Johnson over the weekend about continuing to caucus with the conference.

Who can blame him?

What if I WANT to vote for a republican? Am I allowed to?
Of course. I don't care who you vote for. I care why you vote for them. If it's just out of fear, if you're only voting for a Democrat because your scared of the Republican, or vice versa. That's bad reasoning. MOST people vote this way, which is why things just get worse and worse.
It seems you expect everyone to vote as you do, not as they want.
Then you're not paying any attention to my posts.
Maybe that is why third parties never garner much interest?
Third parties are, currently, blocked out by the two-party system. They're "allowed" to run candidates, but two entrenched parties have made it all but impossible for other parties to gain traction. Nothing will change until we reject the two entrenched parties.
Or maybe the third parties are actually worse than the dumocraps?
Maybe. That's still not an excuse to vote for a bad candidate. Quit blindly accepting what the two shit parties offer up and demand more.
I actually make my vote count, I don't give it away for free.
If you vote for a bad candidate out of fear, that's exactly what you're doing. If you're not doing that, if you really think Trump is a good leader for the nation, go for it. Vote for him. I'll think you're batshit insane, but at least you'll be voting honestly. People who tell me "I know Trump is a piece of shit, but I just can't let those Democrats win!" is not voting honestly. They are voting dishonestly to try to game the system. This is the REAL voter fraud.
And do you sell your vote to a third party for money or do you give it away for free?
I demand that they nominate good candidates. If they don't, they don't get my vote.

Duh? Trump never loses, therefore MAGA never loses, therefore if the "other side" claims they won, it can only be because they cheated. That's logic.

Well hello!
I would like very much to have you accompany me to the rim of an erupting volcano where I could show you the awesome power of nature. You can trust me, don't worry.

:laughing0301:
I was curious what you were trying to say but a murder threat is just as good I guess. Just a warning I am 6’1” 225 so you better have good footing.

You do know the dumocraps have a slogan "Vote Blue, No Matter Who!" right? They do the same thing, but you and many others who think they are for third parties don't call them out for it. Are you afraid of them? Let me see you take on a few dumocraps for partisanship and then I'll believe you. They knew Harris was a massive trainwreck and that did not stop every leftist here from voting for her anyway. I voted for Clinton in 1992, Gore in 2000, Obama in 2008 and sat out 2016 but would have voted for Sanders. After the dumocraps stole the primary from Sanders I abandoned the dumocraps and became independent, and still consider myself independent to this day. I get to choose the best candidate without regard to partisanship and I can say, without a doubt, that Trump was the best choice in 2024. Now if you and/or the dumocraps can find me a candidate that will be better than Vance or Rubio in 2028, I'll vote for that candidate, third party or dumocrap. Good luck with that task.
