Genocide is not the number of people killed. There's isn't a magic number you have to hit for it to be "Genocide".

The UN Defines Genocide as follows.

Acts qualifying as genocide include:

• Killing or causing serious bodily/mental harm to group members.
• Deliberately inflicting conditions calculated to bring about physical destruction.
• Imposing measures to prevent births.
• Forcibly transferring children of the group. [1, 2, 3]

What Israel is doing in Gaza definitely meets the first two points, and you can make a strong argument for the third.
