I was fine with the Lynch nomination until I found out she's a staunch advocate of civil asset forfeiture. She lost me once I found that out and no Democrat with even an ounce of integrity should be supporting this woman's nomination based on that alone, particularly given how much they claim to be the party that supports racial minorities.

I don't see an upside for the dems in compromising over the victims' bill. The only downside is that DOJ may suffer not having an AG who's been confirmed. Perhaps Lynch can just be the de facto AG for all administrative purposes. It's suck for her, professionally.
