This movie is a Spike Lee joint, and is based on a true story. Spike Lee made up a lot of shit that didn't really happen, though.

If you approach this movie as a comedy, it's worth watching.

It's the 70s, and while the first black cop to serve in the Colorado Springs police force is reading the newspaper, his eye is caught by a recruiting ad placed by the local chapter of the KKK. On an impulse, he calls them, and the ensuing phone call is worth the price of admission.

Some of the parts of this movie are true. Ron Stallworth was actually made a member of the KKK. The black Klansman actually did meet David Duke and took a photo with him. David Duke did not know this was the black Klansman until 2006 when he was called for a fact check on the book.

It's a fun movie.

Personally I do not limit my vocabulary. I use the ni word because it triggers LWNJ racists.
