during WW2 in the pacific they were used, mostly as scouts, but the History channel did a special on WW2 and mentioned them a few times.


since they couldn't be see by other planes, except by luck, they used the mounted radar to find ships and other planes.

It was all sneak attacks so no exciting stories to tell.
