Birthright Citizenship…Arguments to begin this week at the Supreme Court.

If your parents are subject to deportation due to being here illegally why would their child be granted citizenship?
What violation did the unborn child commit? You know, as of right now YOU are only a US citizen because you were born here too.

Are you confusing Founders with Framers?
I was using the word the poster used.

That said

You were saying.

Still haven't taken that remedial reading comprehension course I recommended I see. The Constitution was supported by numerous texts of argument and debate and process of thought that constitute the founding documents.. And those documents illustrate the original intent of the various clauses of the Constitution.

The 14th Amendments wasn't fabricated out of thin air but, like the Constitution and all amendments, was forged out of careful debate, discussion, pros, cons, thought, concern, consideration and it too had original intent.
I taught social studies for a good bit of my 21 years as a middle and high school teacher. You are simply full of shit as has been explained to you in many other threads like this one.

What would be the SC's argument to negate birthright citizenship? They will rule in favor of the Constitution. The only way to negate citizenship for the sprogs of illegal aliens is for congress to change the Constitution. Makes me wonder what the GOP is waiting for.
They know Democrats will never go for it.

As of right now, that baby IS a US citizen. Somewhere, right this minute, a baby is being born in the US. That baby IS a US citizen and always will be, no matter what any brainless coward like you wants.
Not if the SCOTUS says they aren’t. Or even if they do and the 14th is then changed they won’t be. I’m quite sure there were people in 1860 telling slaves they were and would always be slaves. Then they weren’t.
