Criminal activity in the area along the US-Mexico border includes gun battles, murder, armed robbery, carjacking, kidnapping, forced disappearances, extortion, and sexual assault.

I would be happy to LEGALLY accept every good, Catholic Mexican family into my country. There are a couple families that attend Mass in my church -- very devout. I wish my Spanish was better so that I could welcome them, on behalf of my parish. Our priest treats them with the same respect he has for all other members of our parish.
