A candid look at what he observed during his trip to visit trump.

This is why I like Maher, despite being a left winger, he’s not so partisan that he feels he has to be on the attack all the time. He can be reasonable.

I watch Maher on YouTube.
He's genuinely funny, unlike the moribund Kimmel and Colbert, little snivelling leftists who cry and whine about Trump constantly and aren't the least bit funny.
Maher is a liberal.
But he's not a leftist.
There is a huge difference.
He's an old-style Democrat. He still loves America and defends her.
The new-style Democrats don't. They hate America and trash her every day.
I sure as hell don't always agree with Maher. But I respect him.
And that's more than I can say about the current Democrats and their late night TV zombies, for whom I have nothing but utter contempt.

As soon as Trump is gone from office and it is fashionable to criticize him again Maher will get with the program and follow suit.

Sure he is a smart enough guy to know better but he follows the easiest path 90% of the time. Try standing up for something when it is not easy. The first term was for the true supporters of MAGA IMO. Trump was brawling with everyone and left an indelible mark globally

His second term started off strong but then he seemed to become seduced by the Never Trumpers, his judgement cloudy. It is going to cost him the midterms and perhaps the next GOP in 2028. The Iranian war needed to be well thought out and the outcome certain with all contingencies known and addressed. IMO this is where he is receiving immense criticism and push back from Independents and some on the right.

I pray for U.S/Israeli success. It could linger with Trumps legacy for two decades if it is not a success.

I’m fine with moderate lefty’s. I like Maher and that’s why I’m also good with Fetterman. I think him being elected over Oz was good. I’d prefer a lefty who will see both sides over a right winger who will only see their own side.

More elected officials could learn from that.

Technically, neither Maher nor Fetterman are "lefties". They're old-fashioned liberals.

This is a lefty.
