Bike Break Checks a Car

I had some dipshit kid do that to me once while he was on a bike. SMH
I had a guy on a small bike reach into my car trying to grab me because he didn't like the way I looked at him after he cut me off. I yelled, "you know you're gonna die today, right?". A little sense seeped in and he backed off.

A better solution for a biker who is having a car follow to close is not to brake check them, but rather to simply reach into their pocket, pull out a used spark plug, and drop it onto the pavement.

That spark plug will do serious damage to the car following when it bounces up, with a good chance of putting a hole in the oil pan.

Learned that from old bikers. However, if police stop you and find that you have old spark plugs in your pocket, they WILL give you a sizeable fine, unless you can provide a good excuse as to why you have old spark plugs in your pocket.

Must have been a Biden voter. The guys not too bright. He doesn't realize he's at the mercy of 2 tons of steel. So why does it make me smile?

:eek:It looked like that car was trying to chomp down on it.

Was that a baby Tyrannosaurus Rex or some other kind of weird dinosaur?

Go Go Godzilla!

Why do people think you're gonna speed up if they tailgate? I let my car coast.

I'm usually the guy who is passing on the right.
It really pisses me off when ya got a slow guy in the fast lane and there's a line of cars 20 deep behind him.
It wasn't to long ago that Texas enacted the left lane for passing only bullsht. I liked it much better when the fast traffic stayed left and the right was for slower traffic.
With the fast lane only for passing now you constantly having people changing lanes which seems to me is more dangerous.

I pretty much stay off the freeway. I drive at or near the speed limit, but there's always the guy who thinks the speed LIMIT is the MINIMUM speed.

In Texas very few people drive the speed limit out on the open highways.
If it's 75 everyone is doing 85 at least. You'll see chains of 15 or more cars hauling ass and you just slip in behind them.
If the front runner slows down you know he's picked up a radar.

That's why I stay off the freeway. Besides, you're going along fine UNTIL you hit Michigan road repairs and everyone comes to a standstill. I go the seed LIMIT on the highway and I don't speed up for tailgaters

To each his own.
We have signs warning of road work ahead.
And ya gotta remember,to get anywhere in Texas is a long haul.
You can drive for 9 hours and not leave the state. And once you're out in the boonies the traffic is sparse to say the least.

Montana is the same way. Police won't pay much attention to you if you're doing 85, unless you're driving that fast in an old jalopy that looks like it's gonna shake itself to death at that speed.

I remember driving through Montana shortly after they decided to make the speed limit more of a suggestion. Topped a hill doing around 75 or 80 at the same time a trooper was going the opposite way. My radar detector went nuts and I knew I was busted. Simply pulled over and waited for him to turn around and pull up behind me. He asked if I knew how fast I was going, and I said, yep, was doing around 75. He then took me back to his car, wrote me a ticket and told me it would be 5 bucks if I wanted to pay it right then (had an out of state license at the time). I paid it, and asked why it was so low. He said that anything under 85 was only a 5 dollar ticket, but if I went faster they'd hammer me since they had just changed the law. Then, he told me to drive careful, and also told me where I'd find the next 2 speed traps along the route I was taking.

When I got home, my Aunt Laurie showed me a whole shoebox full of tickets she had like that. They were all for speeds of 75 to 85, and were all 5 dollar tickets that she said would never be put on her driving record.

I'll never forget when they passed the nation wide 55 mph speed limit.
It felt like you were driving in reverse.
I never once got a ticket driving to our weekend place in Junction,it was a 300 mile one way trip.
Fastest I ever made it there was three and a half hours. If you were to drive the speed limit it would take well over 4 hours.
Texas is just to damn big to drive the speed limit.

If you cut Alaska in half, Texas would be the third largest state in the Union!
Is Texas still a US state or has it reverted back to being a Mexican territory?

I wonder how many at this forum know that Texas was formerly Mexican territory?

Still...looks like that car is munching that bike for dessert. REALLY dumb biker.

Probably not a Biden voter.

Probably not a Trump voter, either.

Looks like it happened in Indonesia...

Texas has been part of 6 different countries at one time or another. That's why their main amusement park is named "6 Flags Over Texas".

And if they mess with you it'll be sooner than later. :auiqs.jpg:
