I've been saying for years that Republicans and conservatives have purposefully contradicted themselves about deficits and the National Debt! IMO it started with Reagan and his economists' theory of cutting taxes to the bone, but at the same time not really cut the budget! They can't keep blaming the Dems because there have been years where they "owned" it all; Presidency and Congress! It's unfortunate that the deficits and Nat'l Debt explode under this theory every time, but the country votes to do it by Republicans! Clinton and Obama did great jobs with both, but for some strange reason, most peeps are idiots and are talked into bankrupting the country so maybe Soc.
