Did Biden just throw Taiwan under a bus?

Biden: ‘We do not support independence’ for Taiwan

President Joe Biden had a blunt message after voters in Taiwan elected a new president Saturday: “We do not support independence” for Taiwan.

Biden’s words, delivered as he departed for Camp David, reinforced the administration’s position to Taiwan’s new president Lai Ching-te, who has faced strong opposition from China over his calls for independence.

Shows who Owns Biden. This is alnost a go ahead message to China.

Biden is a paid Chineese hack.

Joe Biden's statement of "We do not support independence for Taiwan" are code words for "Thanks for the cash, China. You can invade Taiwan anytime you want...."

Worst "president" ever. I hope he dies of anal warts, scabies, rabies, AIDS, and Monkey Pox.

Yes he did and here's the thing about Chinese people and Chinese populated areas. Although China is our enemy right now it's the government that we're worried about, not Chinese people themselves because the people living in these communist countries are victims themselves.

This is Biden ensuring Beijing that America doesn't want more trouble in Taiwan too right now, considering that America has probably just started it's second war!

That has been official US policy all along.

Look, we're already expended our Strategic Petroleum Reserves and depleted our stocks of artillery rounds in the Ukraine War. Our military enrollment is down to record levels we've never seen before. And our Secretary of Defense has gone AWOL without notifying his Commander in Chief.

Do you really think China fears and respects us? They are going through a period of economic downturn, and are getting a little jittery right now. This is not a good time to be begging China not to invade Taiwan, while giving mixed signals that we don't support their independence.

"Soon" would be my preference.

I'll settle for 'painfully'

As to your wish list, they haven't killed him yet so he's probably immune.............. Or just a carrier.

Don't worry about it. You can bet Biden will spend the farm on keeping Taiwan independent while simultaneously saying that he does not support independence for Taiwan.

So explain this:

22nd October 2021, 03:27 CDT Biden says US will defend Taiwan if China attacks - BBC

September 19, 2022, 9:09 AM CDT U.S. President Joe Biden said U.S forces would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion, his most explicit statement on the issue. Reuters

Of course that’s what we say, but that doesn’t mean the CCP has a snowball’s chance in hell of taking it.

Bullshit. You don’t have a clue about what’s going on.

We currently have two wars going on at the moment....a third would really be stretching armed forces too much.
