they paid into both.....i worked with a guy who worked 30 years in the PO and retired and then put 25 in with Costco as a manager and earned a pension from them...he was penalized for having both.....Are they not losing the pensions
So they are getting benefits for both even they only paid into one
SS payment are based on what workers paid to SSIt's no different than if you worked for two or three different companies, and got vested in their retirement plans. You earned each of those entitlements, so why should the government cut your social security (which you also worked for)?
