Biden pardons Hunter if he is indicted, why wouldn't he? He is the son of the Potus.

Yes
Oil dropped recently but the pump price stayed the same.
Only by a short lag.

The demand/supply issues are blunt force, but their effects on prices lag. Speculators make the market more volatile, and their effects are felt almost immediately.

Gas production has been about the same between last year and now. Gas demnd has dropped due to people driving less due to the high cost.....That simple.

Knock knock

...who's there?

30 million barrels of Federal Reserve oil released into market.

Try to keep track of what the conversation is about.

Release of a gazillion barrels per day won't get it through limited refinery capcity in the US , already at 92% output.

...refineries processing cheaper crude means cheaper gasoline, no matter how you spin it.

Why are you so bent on denying the obvious?

Not if demand over takes production.

It doesn't seem like you understand the concept of isolating the effects.

Just because one effect is happening doesn't mean another cannot be ALSO happening. Release of reserves lowering the price does not somehow preclude increase in demand from pushing it up....but of course just a second ago you were arguing that the demand is collapsing, so there is no keeping up with wtf your point is.

So now, due to people traveling very judiciously, production now is passing demand. Until the price lowers enough and demand exceeds supply again.
That simple.
