Turns out that was a good question to ask. Because now there are reports that Joe Biden actually shut down an investigation into that very question.
There’s a new CNN story out that breaks that bombshell news. But it looks like someone knew this information would be leaking out soon and this is part of the effort to soft-pedal the termination of the investigation.
The inquiry was launched in the State Department last fall under President Donald Trump to look into the origin of the pandemic and the leak theory. But the Biden folks cut the leak inquiry this spring. Here comes the spin as to the why.

A Navy destroyer sailed close to disputed South China Sea islands in a direct challenge to Chinese maritime claims over the strategic waterway.

U.S. and allied warships and aircraft have stepped up naval and air patrols to challenge China's claims to control about 90 percent of the South China Sea. The USS Wayne E. Meyer, a guided-missile destroyer, conducted a freedom of navigation operation in the South China Sea on Friday.

"This freedom of navigation operation (FONOP) upheld the rights, freedoms, and lawful uses of the sea," Cmdr. Reann Mommsen, a spokeswoman for the Pacific Fleet, said in a statement.


"The South China Sea plays an important role in security considerations across East Asia because Northeast Asia relies heavily on the flow of oil and commerce through South China Sea shipping lanes, including more than 80 percent of the crude oil to Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan," the report said.

"The United States demonstrated that innocent passage may not be subject to such restrictions."

It's believe that Ebola started with bats or non-human primates, and jumped to humans, in Africa.

Last, but not least, we have SARS Covid-2, which jumped from bats to humans in 2003, in the Wuhan Province., and MERS Covid-12, which jumped from camels to humans in Jordan in 2012. Neither virus was as contagious as Covid-19, but all of the corona viruses have jumped from animals to humans, to this point.

The very reason there was a lab built in Wuhan at all was because the world feared that the next world pandemic would come out of that area because of it's proximity to previously unexplored or settled areas of rain forest in China. As wildlife that humans haven't previously come into contact with being hunted or slaughtered, we have no idea of what diseases these animals carry.
