Biden DOJ Sides with Porn Industry's Lawsuit Against Texas's Age Verification Law

Go argue with the courts. Maybe you will win. Got enough money?
A lot of things take a long time to win in court, but you don't give up. Giving kids access to the internet is still in its infancy, we'll figure it out.

Because it won't actually solve the issue.
OK, so then let's just remove the requirement since IDs for alcohol and tobacco won't completely solve the issue either

I've covered this already.

1. It does address a large portion of the issue.

2. It doesn't violate anyone elses rights.

Because it won't actually solve the issue.
Actually, it can though. What are the kids going to do? "Daddy can you lend me your ID so I can sign up to this adult site?" No, that's not going to happen. VPN? Sure, but what does a kid need with a VPN?

We do. You're desperate, it shows.

Why are YOU against a bill hindering children's access to pornography? Inquiring minds really want to know
Why do you want morally police officers?

Access porn.

If we outlaw guns, only criminals will have guns.

Right

Do you have to sign up for that? Probably requires information to get that download. Information that the kid probably isn't going to have.

Probably? Probably? There is always something available if someone wants it. There is porn on photo sites. Art Sites. Meme sites. Youtube, Pinterest, Reddit, etc etc etc.

What they find objectionable is Texas wants you to provide your personal information and a credit card number or other means of identification.
That IS a problem, isn't it? I don't believe that the Texas folks thought that one all-the-way-through...

I think we all know there's a huge difference in the harm done to kids flipping through nudie mags from back in the day and the type of porn accessible online.

I don't know that. Frankly, I can't really see the difference. Except the images are moving, I suppose.

But Prudes gonna prude.
