Biden: Autopen Autocrat?

There is clearly a difference in the 2 autopen signatures. Does use of autopen require a documented signature, so there should be a record of the signature changing, and I would also think anytime the autopen is used it whoever used it would have to be documented.

I should know the answer to that but I've had no direct dealings with autopen. Generally, it is my understanding that autopen uses a template made from a real, original signature which it then traces out copying. As such then, all autopenned signatures ought to be duplicates of each other that you can hold over another as literal mirror images of the original, which you cannot do with authentic writing as it has random variation in it.

My guess is the later autopen signature was made by Jill. Perhaps Joe could no longer sign his name, or he refused to sign.

The one known authentic signature Joe gave was during his official dropping out of the race last summer.

I read something about Joe signing with some kind of acting coach which I thought what's the point.

He has been hired by the CAA, the Creative Artists talent agency in Hollywood. Kammy is a member too, as she was before she got her VP job. That isn't much news. In fact, it is pretty sad that some of the biggest politicians in our government are working for a Hollywood marketing agency.

And I think Kamala is running for Governor of California, which most say will signal she won't run for POTUS in 2028.

I don't expect to see Kammy running for POTUS again, she needs to settle for a state position in her most friendly state, which I think she will lose there as well.

I think that having Jill be the one in control is only a small part of the story. I would say that she was only really in control of Joe's day to day schedule.

I think whatever happened with Biden stepping down it was done with Jill's approval, forced or otherwise. It is questionable who had control of the autopen which caused the need for a second signature to be recorded.
