The Electricity grid needs to be updated as we move over more to Electricity. This is a cheaper form of delivery than Oil as the infrastructure is largely there... Europe is already more advanced at upgrading their electric infrastructure...

Why is energy so expensive in Europe? Because they are shutting down reliable power plants and spending vast amounts of money on wind and solar installations that produce little electricity. Texas is the only place that has run out of power and that was down to GOP mismanagement of their grid.

This is not about banning fossil fuel just yet... This is about reducing the dependency on Gas... Europe has shown how to do that...

As we use better tech later on we can increase it more... Gas is pretty easy at the moment to increase or reduce while we leverage alternatives...

This has been done in Europe and they have shown this winter when the loss of their main gas supplier they are being able to cope.
