Biden Actually Investing In Russian Invasion

I vote for America unlike you who propagates hate for the US every day and in every post.

Updated Feb 19, 2022 - Economy & Business

By the numbers: As recently as 2010, America imported 9.4 million barrels a day of oil more than it exported. That had swung to a 650,000 barrel per day surplus in 2020, and preliminary numbers for 2021 show trade pretty much in balance last year.

Rich with shale oil resources, it was the sixth consecutive year the US led the world in oil production. Last year, the US produced around 17.9% of the world's oil. Global oil production declined slightly by 0.1% from 95.25 million bpd in 2018 to 95.19 million bpd last year, according to the data.

US leads world again in oil production, consumption

Unfortunately, bidens actions paint a picture of contempt for the country.

The Democrats see global warming and Trump as more of a threat than Russia or China.

But if Russia/China take over the world, they will ground Progressives into dust and I guarantee won't care about global emissions.
Their big boogieman is a heterosexual white male.

Please lay out how a pipeline not in operation, that was going to pump nothing but Canadian oil had anything at all to do with the fabled energy independence of the US

Fabled?????

"Biden orders reversal of Trump’s ‘energy independence’ policies

On January 27, President Biden issued executive orders which did just the opposite. He revoked the federal permit for the continued construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline, which will cost 11,000 jobs (8,000 are union jobs), and he temporarily stopped granting permits for oil and gas operations on federal lands, which will reduce U.S. oil production and was immediately challenged with a lawsuit.

For the oil and gas industry, Biden’s orders specifically mentions methane emission regulations to establish comprehensive standards of performance and emission guidelines from existing oil and gas operations by September 2021.

Additionally, the order requires Texas to submit State Implementation Plan for Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) by January 2022.

The governments of Canada and Alberta wanted the pipeline completed because it would transport some 830,000 barrels of oil sands every day to consumers in the U.S. Proponents argued that the pipeline would transport a much needed resource from a North American neighbor instead of importing oil by tanker from far away countries.

However, Biden stated in his order the “pipeline would not serve the U.S. national interest.”

Supporters of allowing the development of petroleum resources on federal lands pointed out the change will be costly, and it was challenged immediately with the filing of a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in Wyoming.

“Restricting development on federal lands and waters is nothing more than an ‘import more oil’ policy,” Mike Sommers, president of the American Petroleum Institute, said.

“With this move, the administration is leading us toward more reliance on foreign energy from countries with lower environmental standards and risks to hundreds of thousands of jobs and billions in government revenue for education and conservation programs.”

Sommers said a permanent federal leasing ban would result in U.S. oil imports rising 2 million barrels per day by 2030, and U.S. gross domestic product declining $700 billion during the same span.

Texas would lose 120,000 jobs, and about 1 million jobs could be lost by 2022 nationwide.

The federal government could lose an estimated $9 billion in taxes, lease bonuses, and royalties.

With dwindling supplies, many forecast rising petroleum prices and U.S. household could spend a cumulative $19 billion more on energy by 2030, the API study stated.

Biden’s executive orders will reduce U.S. oil supplies that reached historic levels of 13 million barrels per day just one year ago.

The increase in production allowed the U.S. to become a net exporter of oil and natural gas. It was labeled by some as an “energy renaissance” and others called it “energy independence.”

Capitalism and corruption go hand in hand....

Stupid and uneducated opinion.....gleaned, no doubt from a lack of reading.

1. Modern history presents us with two divergent models of economic arrangement: socialism, and capitalism. One of these appears preoccupied with the common good, and social betterment, the other with profits and production.

2. In its modern beginnings, socialism was optimistic and well intentioned, without the overlay of its contemporary varieties that tend to bemoan prosperity, romanticize poverty, and promote a view that place individual rights are a secondary concern. This is to say that the earliest socialists sought the fullest possible flourishing of humanity, “the common good.”

3. A half-century before Karl Marx published the Communist Manifesto, there was Gracchus Babeuf’s Plebeian Manifesto, which was later renamed the Manifesto of the Equals. Babeuf’s early (1796) work has been described as socialist, anarchist, and communist, and has had an enormous impact. He wrote: “The French Revolution was nothing but a precursor of another revolution, on which will be bigger, more solemn, and which will be the last…We reach for something more sublime and more just: the common good or the community of goods! Nor more individual property in land: the land belongs to no one. We demand, we want, the common enjoyment of the fruits of the land: the fruits belong to all.” Here, then, are the major themes of socialist theory. It takes very little interpolation to find that opponents profit at the expense of the environment, and conditions of inequality in society.

4. For Babeuf, socialism would distribute prosperity across the entire population, as it would “[have] us eat four good meals a day, [dress} us most elegantly, and also [provide] those of us who are fathers of families with charming houses worth a thousand louis each.”

5. Oscar Wilde: “Under socialism…there will be no people living in fetid dens and fetid rags, and bringing up unhealthy, hunger pinched children in the midst of impossible and absolutely repulsive surroundings…Each member of society will share in the general prosperity and happiness of the society…”

6. Marxism rested on the assumption that the condition of the working classes would grow ever worse under capitalism, that there would be but two classes: one small and rich, the other vast and increasingly impoverished, and revolution would be the anodyne that would result in the “common good.” But by the early 20th century, it was clear that this assumption was completely wrong! Under capitalism, the standard of living of all was improving: prices falling, incomes rising, health and sanitation improving, lengthening of life spans, diets becoming more varied, the new jobs created in industry paid more than most could make in agriculture, housing improved, and middle class industrialists and business owners displaced nobility and gentry as heroes.

7. These economic advances continued throughout the period of the rise of socialist ideology. The poor didn’t get poorer because the rich were getting richer (a familiar socialist refrain even today) as the socialists had predicted. Instead, the underlying reality was that capitalism had created the first societies in history in which living standards were rising in all sectors of society.

You need work assiduously to understand the difference between capitalism and crony capitalism.

Someone will have to explain to me why Biden will allow the purchase of Russian oil...but does his utmost to stifle oil production here in the US!

Why do Democrats support the enriching of our enemy when we can create energy independence, good paying jobs, and keep that money here instead of financing Putin's economy.

Explain it to me Democrats...

I know!!!

I know!!!!!!!!!!!

Democrats are no longer an American entity.

It is a European Party, with European views and heritage.

The Constitution was a distillation of the views of Madison, Jefferson and Franklin.

Democrat doctrine is from the views of Rousseau, Hegel and Marx.

Amazing how many unaware voters choose the latter over the former.

1. Days after his inauguration, Biden banned the Keystone Pipeline, and ended the energy independence that Trump gifted to American….

…..and at the same time removed any bar to enriching Putin…..removed sanctions and OK’s Nord Stream 2

Had both policies not been put in place, we’d be able to keep control of the gas station masquerading as a nation, Russia.

2. But wait! There's more!!!

1 The U.S. imported almost 8.3 million barrels a day of crude oil and refined products in the week ending Feb. 11. While others obsess over energy independence, oil refiners choose the most economic barrels to use, not just ones with stars and stripes on them. And roughly one in 12 of those imported barrels comes from Russia.

Two different things.

The keystone pipeline is up and running as normal.

Keystone XL has never given us a drop of oil, because it's not built yet.

Considering the oil is still being shipped to Nebraska in trains and trucks.
There are several refineries in the Midwest that have been refitted to refine tarsands. Keystone XL would bypass them causing an increase of the price of gasoline in the region.

The Keystone Pipeline and the Dakota Access Pipeline, are two different things. The Keystone was completed during the Obama administration. From Canada to Port Author Texas.
The DAC is the shortcut, that would pump mostly Chinese owned oil across an aquifer that stretches from the Dakota's to New Mexico and Texas. Parts of this aquifer is over 1000ft deep. It gives water to a million people and their lives stock. It waters millions of acres of farm land. Land that would be destroyed if the water was contaminated.

I don't think it would cause an increase in price at our pumps.
