Biblical truth has been branded as hate

She was an elected official, therefore simple firing wasn't an option.

I agree, if she couldn't do the work she should have quit.

But that's not what she did. She attempted to impose her religion as a function of her job, not only not doing her job - but ordering subordinates not to do theirs either.

No need, she's a classic example.

WW

She didn't make people tithe or go to church, that's imposing your religion as per the Constitution.

The only imposing being done these days is from the left, with the whole Pride thing in Public schools as exhibit A.

There is a verse directly before that one, a trap we all fall into...

"But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction."
Abraham had a lot of money, but his money did not have him

That is the key

The same with Job.

We are not a theocracy. And don't pretend the MAGA blowhards don't hate, literally hate, gays and transgender people. The goal of MAGAs like Charlie Kirk is to deny equal rights to everyone. His and your rhetoric is no different than the segregationists of the past.

There is absolutely nothing Christian about MAGAs who worship an unrepentant serial adulterer who steals from the elderly and cancer kids and bears false witness against others on a daily basis.

There is absolutely nothing even remotely Christian about MAGAs.
What we ARE is a Nation, built by Christian's for Christians.
Everyone else here is tolerated but not accepted.

And now....people like you want to run OUR place....as if you ever could. You cant!....You do not have the first clue as to how to go about it. Literally everything people like you want to do or have done has been an absolute disaster. Because the vast majority of the CITIZENS of this nation are Christian. Not heathen, not atheist, not moslem, buddist or Church of the holy hamster.

All those religions have a home nation....if you do not subscribe anyone can point you in the direction you should leave.

I would disagree with this thought.

It's not religious people being involved in government that makes it a theocracy.

It's religious people trying to shape government to impose their religion on others that moves it toward a theocracy.

WW
And that goes for ANY religion

And that goes for ANY religion
Involving religious people in government does not equal theocracy.

We are all free to participate, and you could even say we all have a duty to do so.

Charlie lost his life for fulfilling his public duty to try and make the country a better place.

Nowhere did Charlie advocate theocracy.

I've seen video after video of Charlie debating students. He always seemed to be respectful, and stopped the conversation when it was not respectful.

Not sure who much more Christian you could have had those conversations.

And then getting up in front of the world saying that you have forgiven the assassin of your husband?

Again, not sure if you know much about Christianity at all.

I agree. But in that post you were quoting, he wasn't talking about Charlie Kirk. He was talking about MAGA Christians.

One could say the same about Reinhard Heydrich

Was Charlie a MAGA Christian?

I think he was.

Anyone who is trying to inflict their religious beliefs onto everyone else is a theocrat, yes.

This really isn't hard to understand. If you want to.

.
Any trying to inflict moral beliefs. Does that include trans genders who insist we call them by their pronouns? That men have a right to play in men’s sports? Like marriage is between a man and a man and a woman and woman?

I personally don’t care who one marries, if you think you are the opposite sex, that your rights are more important, just leave me out of your moral beliefs because they may or may not be mine.

Having a mutual conversation isn't inflicting anything on anyone....derp derp

The only outcry I have heard is regarding men playing in women's sports and children being indoctrinated into the gender cults as they have their genitals mutilated.

How can you change your sex when you are not old enough to even have sex?

It's just common sense.

But the Left pretends that they want to take away all their trans rights.

No, you can't.
Heydrich was “fulfilling his public duty and trying to make Germany a better place “… in his warped opinion… as was Kirk

Yep, they are forcing their morals on others, is wrong.

What a pathetic Godwin attempt, even for a lowlife like you.

You know how the issue was resolved?

After she was held in contempt, a compromise was reached.

Kim Davis was allowed to remove HER NAME from the marriage licenses and instead the authority for authorizing these marriages was passed to the court.

Instead of "by the authority of Kim Davis, County Clerk, Rowan County" the marriage licenses read "authorized by court order", and a deputy clerk signed the marriage license.

Kim Davis didn't have to violate her Religious freedom, and the marriage licenses were authorized.

Kentucky later passed a law that removed the name of the County Clerks from marriage licenses, and all was well.
