Even science suggests that long ago, long before Noah, human population likely came to a low of perhaps 10,000 people, but not because of a flood, but due to disease, competition, and other environmental factors.

So without sitting for the entire thing, I would say the video supports the Bible while still /proving/ nothing. That is not a criticism, I'm just pointing out that when trying to prove something, we naturally select the stuff that supports our position while tending to reject anything which doesn't.

I agree that stats can often be interpreted differently. Just like each scripture. His point on the doubling of population says our population would be possibly in the trillions if the small population of 6 started 10,000 or more years ago. That includes the plagues in Europe. What would you say about that? I found that compelling.

If you are right and humans have been around for millions of years, homosapiens for 50,000 to 250,000 years, then we should have trillions of people on the earth today. And, the fact that carbon is in the fossils should tell you the age secularists say is bogus due to half-life of carbon. Come on, let's see something...

Google is great, you should learn to use it. It would let you look up words like isotopes so you might not look so uneducated. See if you can learn anything.

Slow down a bit and think of ways to ask the big questions in a way that doesn't cause them to pull in their horns.
I would invite him into a discussion on Carbon dating, due to his offer of disproving it.

Essentially, people function their entire lives on their belief system, whatever that may be, without the ability to prove much, if anything. This is all based on evidence that makes sense to them, and/or what they want to believe is true.

This is why your belief system is so vital, as you literally become what you believe.

Essentially, people function their entire lives on their belief system, whatever that may be, without the ability to prove much, if anything. This is all based on evidence that makes sense to them, and/or what they want to believe is true.

This is why your belief system is so vital, as you literally become what you believe.

I suppose that is true. I can prove all kinds of things outside math class, but if the person you are proving it to does not understand the validity of your proof, no proof in the world will matter.

The age of the earth isn't important. If you have 8 billion now, that would happen if there was only about 4500 years of 6 people doubling over a period as indicated in the video.
