It is taught to college level astronomer students that there are long, millions of years long, ice ages, and then around 40,000 year warming periods. They also teach that the explanation is unknown. Overpopulation and burning fossil fuels are not to blame. There is no way to stop the warming cycle until it rebounds towards the next ice age. It's probably from recent sun activity, a result of some cycle in the sun that warms the earth, if it could be answered by something like oil or population the universe would have warned us in its book? instead it looks for us to prepare for the inevitable.

All the planets in the solar system have heated up, i.e.,. the sun is doing it.

The sun will continue to grow, and grow, and grow, and grow, until it consumes the earth entirely, then it will collapse on itself and die................unless we send trillions of dollars to the Climate cult. Only then can we all be saved!

Yay.

I think the sun squeezes on it core in a cyclone fashion, then when the core heats up, it spins faster and releases tension on the core. In any event I doubt it will consume us as you say.

The "millions of years long ice ages" have been caused by a few different things, but most often by plate tectonics. The warming periods are the glacial-interglacial cycle and it is driven by Milankovitch orbital forcing reinforced by the onset and falloff of the greenhouse effect acting on CO2 coming out and going in to solution in the world's oceans.

that's all theoretical

That's science for you. But you claimed that college students were told that the causes of the ice ages and the glacial-interglacial cycles were unknown. That is not true. They are told that ice ages are caused by plate tectonics and the glacial-interglacial cycle is caused by Milankovitch orbital forcing reinforced by the Greenhouse Effect.

What do you call the Bible?

I think you are lost without a paddle, the slight change in orbit is theoretical, I was taught that, I went to college for it. I call the bible the book of the universe. It intends for what is fair. What people say is unfair about it is really just a warning to them to straighten up and they don't want to take it seriously. I doubt the orbit of the earth is to blame. What is your problem with the sun cycle theory?

Irrelevant of man kind, nature will do what it has always done. The planet will cool and heat at whatever speed nature decides.

It helps to understand what ICE AGES are and learn something...

That the cycles are the cause of the glacial-interglacial cycles is a widely accepted theory. If you do a search for the cause of the glacial-interglacial cycles, scholarly or otherwise, you will find nothing else listed. That the cycles themselves take place is an observation. In either case, no college instructor in the last 75 years would say the cause was unknown.
I call the bible the book of the universe.
That's sweet but attempting to use it as a science resource is foolish.
It intends for what is fair.
???

I do not believe in the supernatural, thus, among other things, I do not believe the bible was written with divine guidance. Thus I accord it no significant value as a source of facts about the Earth and its processes.
I doubt the orbit of the earth is to blame.
You are free to doubt whatever you want. You are not free to dispute demonstrable facts and the facts show that Milankovitch cycles are science's most widely accepted cause for the glacial-interglacial cycles.
What is your problem with the sun cycle theory?
Because the data don't support it. At all.

-To me, it's always a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk around. That way, if anybody says, "Hey, can you give me a hand?," you can say, "Sorry, got these sacks."

Let us know when you actually have a response.

-The wise man can pick up a grain of sand and envision a whole universe. But the stupid man will just lie down on some seaweed and roll around until he's completely draped in it. Then he'll stand up and go, "Hey, I'm Vine Man."

The builders of the tower made a similar observation, not that they were stupid or wrong in the observation of certain cycles in nature correlating with vanished civilizations. It's the conclusion and response which was based on a false assumption, of conflicting morals in how the nature was set. There's a reason the Hebrew civilization counts only a short period of human history within the context of creation.

Basically you deal with a period long enough to make sense,
and for humanity to solve its issues for the next step to
be a beginning of the normal history, rather than
being overpowered by the forces of nature,
inside and outside.

Is that a Chukim or just dogma?

I've got an idea. Since this is the Environment forum, why don't you tell us about the Sun Cycle Theory?

Well, its just a theory, for starters do we agree the sun is hot? or do you have........your own opinion......cough

Yes, I agree that the sun is hot. The top of the Earth's atmosphere is struck with approximately 1,361 watts per square meter normal to the solar radial.

The sun squeezes its core from an immense amount of gravity. The sun as a whole is not moving in a cyclonic fashion. Being a sphere, a cyclone could not form. Cyclone form in fluid material with thin layers experiencing vertical shear. There could certainly be cyclones in the Sun; probably thousands of them, but they are not the cause of the sun's heat. In the core of the sun, temperature and pressure are high enough that hydrogen fuses into helium releasing enormous amounts of energy which balances gravity preventing further collapse. Heat does not make the core spin and there is no tension to be released. Compression and tension are two different things and given the gravitational force of the sun's 1.989 × 10^30 kg of mass, you'd be EXTREMELY hard pressed to find any tension in the core. The pressure at the center of the sun is estimated to be 3,840,000,000,000 psi. A person weighing 150 pounds on Earth standing on the surface of the sun would weigh 4,050 pounds.

The sun will eventually destroy the Earth. In it final stage, about 5 billion years in the future, the sun will expand into a red giant and will swallow Mercury, Venus and possibly the Earth. It will then cool and collapse into a white dwarf. Any life on the planet will be killed at that point.

This video show that the poles don't move along with the equator like a solid planet but are slower, the equator being an enormous layer of cyclone.
