PC(USA) voted on Friday evening at its 221st**General Assembly*in Detroit to divest from Caterpillar, Hewlett-Packard and Motorola Solutions, three companies which provide equipment and technological implements utilized by the IDF in its military occupation of the Palestinians in the West Bank. The church's divestment overture focused only on these three companies, and was careful not to align itself with the international**BDS movement*or with any efforts to divest from the State of Israel (per a passed amendment during the proceedings).

The Presbyterian church has become splintered over a great many subjects over the last decade +, causing there to be several Presbytery's now. And it continues to grow. It is the Presbyterian (USA) that voted on this business divestor, the same one that voted yes on same sex marriage. -

Ha! Ha! Divesting their holdings? What holdings? That money was supposed to go to the poor, the widow, the orphan! Rabbi, Rabbi...... ignore this false church. I tell you the truth not everyone that has a cross on their steeple is a true church. This same type of "Business" and politicking is found in Southern Baptist churches, Methodists, and the mother of all heretics, the Catholic one, it is all nonsense. Ignore these hypocrites!!

Christians should always pray for the peace of Jerusalem but when it comes to churches with money invested in companies, etc? It is utterly ridiculous and unscriptural. Any church that is sitting on a ton of gold in the end days? Is a James 5 situation and should be dismissed as such. Their day is coming. You'll see it with your own eyes. You do know they have pension plans for their retiring ministers, missionaries, and lifetime employees, correct? Even though I don't like this decision, your comment was not an informed one.
