It's a narrow one, and I don't necessarily believe it will actually play out but we can't rule it out.

Right now Hillary is polling horribly. She may get an indictment before July.

Because Bernie won Indiana, a contested convention may take place if he does well in California. If Hillary continues to poll poorly and her hypothetical match up polls against Trump continue to slide, the super delegates may pledge for Bernie at the convention. Keep in mind that since the beginning Bernie has polled very well against the republican candidates. He beats Trump by 18 points. He has always had the highest favorability rating of any other candidate.

The DNC is panicking a little I think. They're relieved Trump will be the nominee because they know a potential disaster will cause the GOP to collapse, but that won't happen if Hillary's numbers don't at least plateau at some point.

Hillary Clinton will be indicted in July for coughing.

I look at it this way and that is if Hillary Clinton loses the nomination her voters will vote for Bernie Sanders, but if Bernie Sanders loses the nomination because of Super Delegates then I can see his voters not voting or going back to being Green Party voters or the independent voter they are.

The Democratic Party might be wise to take him instead of taking Clinton and I agree if she loses California then Bernie should win the nomination because you can not lose California and expect to get nominated as the Democratic Nominee...

Yes the far left still believes they get a choice in their nominations..

Silly far left drones!

Well Hillary will likely be the nominee and she has more votes than any other candidate, so yeah, in this case the people will decide lol.

I don't see too many Bernie supporters moving toward Hillary if he does not get the nomination. Hillary would likely lose to Trump.

The Green Party could be a big game changer if Bernie decides to run Green or just to move his supporters in that direction. Even if the Greens do not win it could be a big change. If they can get over 5% of the votes in the general election they would be considered a major party up next to the Republican and Democratic parties. We would no longer have a two party system.

If Hillary has a stroke and dies Bernie will not be the nominee.

Disagree.

There is no ‘path’ for Sanders.

Clinton needs only 166 more delegates to win the nomination; she could have that before the end of the month – add to that the likely bulk of California’s 546 delegates.

And democrats are wise to go with Clinton – Trump would destroy Sanders, with endless attack ads, his usual lies and demagoguery, and during the debates.

Trump would be able to get enough democrats to abandon Sanders perceived to be ‘too liberal,’ just as occurred in 1988.

Voters have been hearing the lies and attacks against Clinton for so long now that they've made up their minds about her long ago – Trump can only repeat the same tired, baseless lies with little or no effect.

You're probably right about Hillary getting enough delegates before July, but you are so wrong about Bernie's chances in a general election. Again, he leads Trump by 18 points in some polls. Trump is now beating Hillary by a couple of points. Bernie is the only candidate with a favorability rating. Why don't any of you accept this? Everyone already knows he is a socialist. It just isn't the dirty word it was for Obama. It no longer sticks. Trump has plenty of fodder for Hillary. He doesn't have much for Bernie besides being a socialist.
