Benghazi: Was it the Video?

This guy has been running around for two years giving interviews to the AP. Christ almighty the freaking Domino's pizza man could of found him. Now the administration snatches him up before Billary's TV tour? Seems fishy to me. But, we will see what he says about the video...but really that's not the point. Lack of a sense of urgency on behalf of this administration is.

This Air Force officer has an interesting story to tell.

He will say what he is told to say.
Except he said it nearly 2 years ago without being under any duress!!!!!
Poof, there goes that Fox Gossip Channel bullshit!

This is such a no-brainer. Leftist will believe anything this administration says. Obama could come out tomorrow and say "the sky is red...the sun orbits around the earth...and the grass is white", liberals: "Yeah that's right."

The key word is MIGHT That means this is a talking point. The video was not the cause. And the conspiracy comment nails it. They covered all the talking point bases.

"The first is that the anti-Muslim video really might have contributed to the deadly violence, just as intelligence agencies suggested in the immediate aftermath of the attack, and just as Susan Rice said on the Sunday shows soon after."

When the attack happened there had been only a few hundred hits to the video so how was that a factor at all?? Its not,its was a planed terrorist attack from the moment it started, even Dian Fenstian has public stated such. She has a chair on the senate intelligence comity and a high ranking Dem that isn't always on the cool-aid.
Myopic.

A flame had been ignited.

Some of those religious freaks go nuts after a one-dimensional cartoon is shown depicting their Prophet. Many of these are unstable, uneducated fanatics.

I don't know why people find it so amazing it could be both -- the video and some of the factions in that crowd that preplanned it.

Things can happen concurrently when angry fucked up groups assemble.

To the devout, hearing word their Prophet was depicted as a pig ****** and in the most demeaning way possible certainly will only add to the rage...

And you know there's this invention called TeeVee and radio, where it was broadcast all over the friggin' world Headline News. It was a huge headline here, that night.

They also do have social media. They're not living in caves, you know.

You think those in Libya were not able to view the news and it didn't rile up some of the kook religious fundamentalist nutburgers there once they instantly got wind an American movie had been made that was the equivalent to them of calling Jesus a pig ******??

Hell, a few days before a fatwa had been ordered by the Grand Mafti regarding that video.

It was a combination of people that took part in the tumult and to deny they were isolated from it is just insane.

To repeat:

It was being broadcast on T.V's in the Middle East. What was happening earlier in the day in Egypt? The whole damn world was watching that.

To remind again:

"Then, on Sept. 8, a popular Islamist preacher lit the fuse by screening a clip of the video on the ultraconservative Egyptian satellite channel El Nas. American diplomats in Cairo raised the alarm in Washington about a growing backlash, including calls for a protest outside their embassy."

You can't go by just "youtube views" -- they were showing clips of it on Middle Eastern TV's.

Also, too:

"But Islamists in Benghazi were watching. Egyptian satellite networks like El Nas and El Rahma were widely available in Benghazi.

“It is Friday morning viewing,” popular on the day of prayer, said one young Benghazi Islamist who turned up at the compound during the attack, speaking on the condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals.

By Sept. 9, a popular eastern Libyan Facebook page had denounced the film. On the morning of Sept. 11, even some secular political activists were posting calls online for a protest that Friday, three days away.

Hussein Abu Hamida, the acting chief of Benghazi’s informal police force, saw the growing furor and feared new violence against Western interests." -From the NYT account

Also, the Grand Mafti had issued calls days before for protests about the film.

What was happening all over the globe that week. Somehow Muslims could be incited worldwide by the video, but that little speck in Libya, those folks, nyet. Nope, those guys were immune to news of hearing about how their Prophet was mocked as a pig ******* skunk junker.

You know, those Benghazi freaks were above it all to be incensed about that kind of stuff.

Do you guys even hear yourselves???

lol. I was going to make a post yesterday that if this guy says the video was a factor that the RWnuts will simply claim he was forced to say that. Thanks for pre-emptively proving me right.

How would that work? Torture? Are you admitting now that with torture people will say whatever they think you want them to say?

Dude will disappear after saying it was the video.
You'll be able to find him in Tahiti or the south of France living it up on his tax payer funded bribe money.
And dont even act like thats not possible considering who we're dealing with.

Enough about Obama...Why shouldnt we believe what the guy who was involved says?

This Air Force officer has an interesting story to tell.
The Right wanted Obama to rush in with no planning so Americans would lose their lives and hate the fact that Obama gave the FBI and CIA enough time to create a plan that accomplished its goal with no loss of American life.

On June 17, retired Lt. Col. Rick Francona appeared on CNN's At This Hour With Berman and Michaela to explain why Khattala's arrest took time and why it was important to apprehend him alive:
FRANCONA: You have to have perfect intelligence. You have to know where they're going to be, what company they're going to be in, how fast can the security forces react, what is, you know, all the situation around you. And sometimes you have to call it off because the police will be there, because the last thing you want to do is get involved in a firefight inside another country, especially a country that's not friendly to you. So for them to set up everything would take time. They may have aborted this several times, we don't know that.
PEREIRA: They did get him alive. The hope is they'll get more intelligence about the other players in this scenario from him?
FRANCONA: Absolutely. It's always better to take these guys alive, and I think that's one of the criticisms a lot of people have of the drone program is you don't get the opportunity to debrief these guys. So we may have had the opportunity to go in and kill this guy, but now we've got him. [CNN, At This Hour With Berman and Michaela, 6/17/14]

Another NO Information moron who is so uninformed that they didn't know that the "Dude" already told the media almost 2 years ago that the video started the protest that turned into the attack.
Thank you for making a fool of yourself with your fantasy.

Liberals will talk about this like it's fact and soon it will be in history books.

history becomes history because facts are recorded as such ... talking liberals don't have that power. The party of NO will go down in history AS history.

Adios chica.

Nice long winded explanation for nothing, those people that showed up with rocket propelled grenade launchers had this planned, they didn't see the video its that simple, the spin that was put o0ut by the white house was just that spin,it always was and will always be no matter the lengths people like yourself will go for blind partisan brinkmanship, its pathetic and is a major cause of political polarization, your kind so afton blubber about.

Its take a bigger man to say I was wrong,we don't have that kind in the white house, and its a bad thing.
