If he indeed went up to the edge of the cliff, the Democrats tried to push him off. And they're doing so in a very dishonest way, constantly and voluntarily misrepresenting what he said. As we see on this thread. That's not what he said.Is that what he said? The fact that a candidate for POTUS thinks that religion should be a factor whether someone is ALLOWED to run despite what out CONSTITUTION says is disturbing to say the least.
.
Oh bloody hell- he might as well have said it. I said that's what he THINKS. Just like he THINKS women can't make rational 'educated' decisions about their own bodies...just like he THINKS prison life turns people gay.... just like he THINKS Obamacare is as bad as slavery was... just like he THINKS that the US has turned into Nazi Germany.
So why is it out of the realm that he actually believes that Muslims aren't fit for position of POTUS ?
He said he would not support a Muslim for President, because he doesn't feel that Islam is consistent with the Constitution.
It's impossible to discuss this if you keep misrepresenting what he actually said.
.
Then he should have said ' I personally believe....' but he didn't. He went right up to the edge of that cliff but didn't jump off. Christianity, & Judaism isn't consistent with a secular Constitution either. Do you think the religion of the current POTUS should have ever been raised over the past 7 years?
And to answer your question, I think this "Obama is a Muslim" stuff is ridiculous.
I'm consistent.
.
I'm not a Democrat.
