Should the term "Battle Ground State" be stricken from the political lexicon?

It implies violence.

We should also eliminate the term 'political party' because everyone knows that a party implies alcohol abuse and can lead to fights and violence.

Darn right we should.

We should change it to something far more PC.

like

Tug of war, uhm
Sudden Death over t, hmm

Marbles states! no, that implies gambling

Cat fight sta, crud

challanging to win states? yeah, that's lame enough to be pc. I mean brilliant.

Don't forget Subway.

I don't even mention Burger King and Dairy Queen.

People are desperately trying to prove that what we say has more importance than what we do. Their attempts at hijacking our language to change society is proving to be a dismal and costly failure.

Home Depot sounds militaristic.
