Do the Venezuela drug cartels really think the United States is going to fork over a ton of money because a 2nd rate catcher for the Washington Nationals was kidnapped? Too bad but if you live in Venezuela and flaunt your American baseball cash what do you think is going to happen? Play ball for the peoples republik of Venezuela? They might trade you to the peoples republik of Cuba's team but at least you get better medical.
