Let me be crystal clear: the point was how voter id laws look to minorities. Minorities may be generally less affluent and less educated and less well informed but they are NOT more stupid than the rest of the country.

Showing respect for police officers would totally piss off many of his supporters. He has chosen a side and isn't about to show concern for police. No matter how many innocent people die, the narrative will remain the same. Any cops who murder should be severely punished. Same for any thugs who murder. And no one should defend any of their sorry asses.

The cops that were murdered did nothing wrong. If BLM can't recognize that they deserve to be honored, that make BLM nothing but heartless thugs. They don't want to speak out against cop killings. **** them. They are doing nothing but turning people off. Their hateful rhetoric spewed every chance they get is doing nothing but chasing away people who would otherwise have supported their cause. At this point, I don't know what their cause is, other than making some pretty stupid demands that have nothing to do with equality or soothing race relations. They want things to keep escalating. Obama seems to support that 100% considering the way he praises them.

While it's wrong to kill innocent police, it's also wrong to kill innocent American based on skin color. They that don't understand that are part of the problem and probably Republican.

Two Democratic presidents, Kennedy and Johnson. Kennedy and his AG forced integration on the South. Johnson made it the law of the land. Goldwater saw an opportunity to flip the South from Dem to GOP by championing "States Rights", code for letting the Southern states keep segregation.

• Those other shootings did not target certain people. The victims were random.

• Those other victims were not men and women wearing the uniform sacrificing for their communities.
